This video was both instructional as well as relieving. I was relieved to know that I am not the only one who had issues reading certain books with understanding as I had to go back, re read, go back re read, go back again, then move on to another book. You guys seem to know so much about the Word it causes some of us to think why can't we get it like they do or the pastors we watch do... now we know that we are not alone and it's normal to have to re read, knowing that gives me and my group a bit of relief. It is good to hear two sides of testimony who are husband and wife but have different takes on scripture... Very cool. Loved the format because it is real, not "theatrical" we didn't know Ronnie has hair... lol nonetheless, I always tell you that you are reaching many more than you think or the view counter shows. God has used your experiences and your publicly known images for His Glory... No way that happens without the orchestration of God's plan... no way. So keep up the videos, the teachings, and the entertaining way you do them which is by being real and filled with His Love. Continued Prayers go your way everyday... First time I came across you video. Just loved it. I read 4 chapters a day. Im from Israel and so I read it in Hebrew. The oldtestament is divided to Tora Neveim Ktuvim so I read one chaptet from each a day and one from the new testament. I love Gods word. God bless you and your ministry. Come visit Israel :)

First off, I am so glad/excited/blessed to have found your channel! There were so many things that you both said that had me nodding my head, like yes...that’s me too! Just a couple of things that really stood out was what you said Mel, about being legalistic. I fall into that category big time. My personality tends to bend on the perfectionist side so when I don’t stick to my “schedule” I have so much self condemnation. And what you said Ronnie about using different resources when I don’t understand something. The Bible Project has been so instrumental in my study and understanding. I have been sharing with my family and friends that are unbelievers as I feel that your ministry will reach many and point them to the truth , my husband and 20 yr old son included , They have almost every crusty demon DVD and he has been very resistant to anyone sharing the Gospel with him but when I said did you know that Ronnie Faisst is a Christian and has a ministry he watched your whole Testimony with great interest , I feel that God is changing his heart and will many others through ministries Like this .
For whatever reason you guys seem very comfortable behind the camera. And I’m being very serious here. I believe the lord is preparing you guys for national television. Unless we get raptured soon. The authenticity is encouraging and motivating for us watching to dig deeper for what the lord has planned for us to do in life. The best way I can put this is that these videos BREATHE LIFE. I just came across your Channel and so glad I did! I have been saved for a while years, but really 8 years ago I got tired of backsliding and I started full force in the word. I started with Genesis to Revelation. I like you both study different Bibles translations, plus I do have the You version app. I love it, Bible plans and different Bibles translations! I recently started reading the Amplified Bible, it's easy to read and understand! I read them all. Like Ronnie said it could be just one word that stops you from understanding and a different translation can help you to understand. I love the positivity your channel brings. thank you both for explaining it in a way that takes the "Process/Checklist" mentality out of studying the word, and placed simple emphasis on spending time with Jesus in the word. I have been doing a quick morning devotional study (Our Daily Bread, and Turning Point) and I often find that in a supernatural way -- the Devotional has been on a topic I have been struggling with or trying to learn about. Thank you again Ronnie and Mel for both being such kind and compassionate people on fire and in love with God. I woke up this morning and for some magical reason God brought me to your channel, I truly love this video for really breaking down all the opportunities of the bible we can often miss or overlook. I grew up going to church, but was never a Christian. I got saved about 3 months ago and still struggle to read my bible. So coming across this video has been really helpful. And like you Ronnie I’m not a big reader, reading just isn’t something I enjoy but reading my bible I enjoy it’s like God is pushing me to continue reading so I get to know him.
My favourite book is Job. I used to read all over the place. I only really got the understanding after reading from old testament through to new. I am KJV reader and seeing Jesus from the beginning (Genesis) is how I fully understood the new testament. I do not go a day without the word. I'm almost finished my 2nd read through the whole bible. The sit-down format is great and like Mel, I tend to lean toward legalism at times. Like you, Ronnie, I use a variety of tools to connect with the Lord but there are times that I feel lost in spite of the efforts I make to grow spiritually. For the most part though this conversation confirms that I am on the right path. I'm very thankful I stumbled across your video which I know was not an accident. You know, I started to read the bible from Gen and got through Exodus, but I’m actually going to start from Matthew. I have this planner that actually is some what like Mel’s was when she started reading the Bible! One chapter from Old and one from New. But I prefer to just start from the new! Keep this up guys, I really joy the sit down talks!

Thank you for sharing!! It's fun to know that I had a similar experience with Ronnie that I was asked to start with the New Testament when I got the Bible from my church brother. I said the same thing to friends whom I gave the Bible as a gift. To answer the question what was something that encouraged you today? I found that you both shared a lot that encouraged me. If I have to pick one the most, I think it's the discussion that what made you keep going reading the Bible. It's the joy come from it and I missed that connection and missed that feeling being with God.
Hi, I really enjoy listening to you, about your journey and the way God works in you and the way you deal with life following Him, it is seriously encouraging to take closer look to my own actions in life in God's perspective, so to say.. You talked about consistency, spending time with The LORD in His Word and in prayers everyday (and throughout the day). That has made the greatest difference for me. The more I have done that the more I understand the depth of His love for me and in response the more I love Him. Like you suggested, things I watch/listen to by other believers (for example on RU-vid) also really have been a help. Recently, watching the series (you can get the app free in Your app store) The Chosen has really increased my love for Jesus and made me want to dig into my Bible still deeper. I took the total amount of pages.. then divided by two (2 sides) then divided by 180.... so it was 3.2 so I haven't even been reading at least 3 pages a day. Failing already. My older daughter has been sticking with it but hey I can try again! This was a encouraging video that makes me wanna try and read the Bible more. I can tell that I do t read the Bible much cause I don't like who I am without Him. I need to spend time with him to change me. I hate who I am. I'm so bad my brothers don't even want much to do with me. I'm married but I still wish my bro were around. My family is so broken up I hate it. I've failed in my life and been a very disagreeable person.. not all the time but apparently enough to keep people away. Had been watching some videos recently, but really like to know peoples first time process of reading the bible and getting closer to God. My husband and I just started to devote time to read the bible, we started with genesis 1 then went to proverbs and currently on Matthew. I'm so eager and hungry to keep reading and knowing more!
I have fallen into legalism in wanting to read and understand everything I read on a daily basis. But I have to try to let myself be okay and not be so hard on myself for missing. I try to research what I don't understand.

Can I just ask you both to pray for me, I need strength in my walk, I want to grow in my relationship with God I want to be hungry for him. I remember when I once use to tell myself that me and my family will live for and serve the Lord just as the scripture says but for the past decade my walk has been so strained I find myself questioning him and if I want to live for him, amongst many other crazy thoughts. I know that there can't be anything better than to be one with our father. I try to read my word and do devotionals but I have no fellow believers in my midst to help me stay accountable, to speak with, pray with or seek God with and I just don't know sometimes but I know I can't walk with the world and the Lord so if y'all could just pray for me that all my obstacles and barriers be overcome so that I can persue God wholeheartedly I will be forever indebted. Thank you.
I'm A beginner w reading the Bible other than the children's bible which is all Gods stories from the old to the new testament. That I understood. When I thought I was saved in 1989 I got sober and went up to the alter and cried while they played Jesus come rescue me and I swear I felt him move thru me and my life changed. Got married, had a house and a baby but soon after my husband picked up drugs after being clean for years and he spent the nite in a hotel w my best friend. Brokenhearted I struggled to stay clean and continued living w him as he lied when he didn't make it home bc of work he'd say but he'd come home high as a kite on crack and tell me I didn't understand bc we met in AA were both sober, had a sober wedding. The bible and praying still helped me to remove myself from him while he was using. I knew gid didn't want me serving 2 masters at the same time or couldn't and it was like inviting the devil in w my small child. We separated. I prayed for his sobriety but after 18 rehabs later I finally divorced him. I know is a huge sin. Just 2 wks ago he totaled his truck while super high off the GS Parkway. We r still friends never dated anyone else. I feel where's there's breath there's hope but I can't save him. My sobriety has taken a backseat. No drugs but drink beer from time to time. I'm minimizing it now but cocaine was my problem in the 80s. I went back to the bible king James I'm catholic or was bc I never grasped that bible hard to comprehend. Now I have a new bible NLT and I am reading it as u watch my christian shows just to make sure it's in line w the pastor. I started w the old testament and get confused when my shows jump to the new. I think I'm gonna restart my program to the New testament first. I have a terrible memory even if I read it 3x I can't recite the chapter and verse a day later. So I'm just gonna start alert and new tmr w the new testament Mathew and revelations like he said he did. I listen only to my christian station in the car and know Jesus loves me but I don't express I love myself. I pray I'm healed but am disabled and live w pain. I keep thinking Jesus can make that paralyzed man walk he can do anything. So I'm glad I landed on your u tube bc I can relate to both your stories. I got my 1sr dirt bike at 9 and acted like Evil Kenevil jumping everything. Great at gymnastics diving so became a stunt girl but had to model for portfolio for body doubles. But I hated undressing or being touched by men or even w this class of girls. I never felt pretty my sister was the model I just wanted to do stunts. Well Many crashes later by body is feeling it. I still don't think I'm good enough yet Jesus loves me. I just got off my knees praying b4 I found this ministry. I don't go out to church but I do watch them all on Sunday and record them to watch over if I feel I need to hear it again. It's just the feeling of not good enough that's keeping me from reading lately, u never liked to read either so I got it on audible now and have a plan but been lacking off thi past week. I know I need to get quiet in my head and start fresh and I will starting tmr w the new testament. Thank u both. I needed to hear your messages. God bless you.

Hi Maddie! We definitely plan on doing something like that in our “Mission” Series to show everyone they can do it, and we also plan on doing a reality type show following us to places like X Games and capturing moments of us praying for people, etc
Hi Ronnie and Mel! I can relate to both of your perspectives and daily rountines you presented and observe. My prayer room is my bedroom.. The Word of Yehovah, is so deep and multifaceted, multi- layered.. It truly is the "Glory of God to conceal a matter, and the honor of Kings to seek it out!" Every name, number, person, place, thing, animal, etc..in His WORD is there by design, and has significance! It is mind blowing.. Sometimes my struggle is staying focused on what I'm reading for that day's study..and not to going off on a new "treasure hunt"..when the Holy Spirit, gives a sudden new revelation..usually on the oddest things..example..like hyssop..why did God tell Moses to use "hyssop" to paint or "strike" the blood of the Passover lambs on the doorposts. Why is the Hyssop, mentioned again with the Red hefer offering.. in the OT, and again.. in the NT..at the crucifixion of Jesus..Yeshua.. Also, learning Hebrew is amazing.. In Genesis 1:1..."In the beginning" the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit is proclaimed in Hebrew..Our loving Father... "purposely concealed" the Trinity, in the Hebrew writing of Genesis 1:1... This is a huge revelation to Jews, Muslims, who do not believe God has a Son. I also use Daniel 7:13,14 "I saw in visions, and behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven and came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought him near before Him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him; His dominion is an everlasting dominion that shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed."

Mel. I've been there with feeling guilty about dotting all the ( I-"s ) and crossing all the (T-"s ) we grow out of this. Along the way. I dont really push myself like. I use to God said in spirit and TRUTH So if. I dont feel it. I dont do it. I read a little daily. I love prayer room had one for a long time. But. I moved away.

How do you do bible journaling? Like where do you start? I’m a Christian born and raised but I’ve been lost for a while and I was scrolling through Facebook and God played your videos for me and I felt him telling me to start my walk back with him but I don’t know where to start...
Hi sister! If you watch our Live Bible Q&A Video, I talk a little about Bible Journaling. I am more just a journal-er than like a Bible doodler. So I also have a prayer journal where I literally just talk to God in it. I tell Him what I’m wrestling with, I ask Him questions, I let Him speak to me, I write down verses He’s highlighting, etc. I think our channel will really help you get back on track sister! Try and watch our Bible and Prayer Series videos and next we will talk about community/relationship and all three of those we feel are foundations! Get in the Word again, start praying and worshipping again, and get a few friends who want to follow Him too, that will help tremendously. Excited to see where the Lord will take you in Him sister. He is delighted that you are taking a step back towards Him! He can restore everything that was lost
