Great video. But I wasn't sure how Figma would help in eLearning design except for prototyping purpose. Other than that, I felt translating Figma design to Captivate or Storyline is challenging compared with Photoshops or Illustrator. Indeed, Figma is a great prototyping tool with great animation features, but translating those features into an authoring tool is a big debate.

This is an excellent overview of Figma, Sabrina! I highly recommend that other instructional designers view the video.

Great Figma intro! Is there a reason why you prefer to prototype in Figma, instead of directly in Storyline? I imagine it would be time consuming to rebuild all the elements in Storyline or exporting each element and dropping it into a SL file vs doing everything in SL.

Sometimes Figma can be a little more user-friendly and easier to share for prototyping. But everyone has their own flow! Sabrina goes over some more of the benefits in this video, if you want to check it out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UXtDzp9yVAw.html Thanks for watching!

Great overview. However, it would have been more impactful if you created a wireframe from scratch while explaining the different features of Figma. Seeing how it all comes together would have been beneficial.

Great minds! Sabrina goes over that later on in her Figma series. You can check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-chdAunE7zIY.htmlsi=vq2_E3omC8Zq28gj

I need to know what competencies and skills of instructional design we have to follow as teachers. Two things skills and competencies I would emphasize if I would apply instructional design with my content I teach. so which direction Can I use ? the first one , a international standards as following (IBSTPI -ACET ATD) that show the skills ( it is domain but i don't know if it is mean skills or not ) and comptenses . Second , there are some researchers tend to get the skills from ADDLE Model , and the competences from their experiences . So my question is which direction I have to use ?.

Question; When would I use Figma verses Storyline?
@DevlinPeckYT

Great question! Figma comes before Storyline. So you'd use Figma to design your layouts and figure out your visuals, then you bring things into Storyline and handle the programming / build the final product in Storyline :D
