I got multiple tiny superglue stains on my mostly brand new cotton beige uniqlo pants. I had super old nail polish remover. Put some of the nail polish remover on cotton, then scrubbed with the soaked cotton ball, while feeling with the other hand till it got soft. As soon as it got soft, I put a lot, lot of water on it, and scrubbed again with a fresh cotton ball. It showed signs of the acetone fading the colour of the pants, so maybe I was lucky my pants were beige. This saved my favourite pants. About six hours had passed since I got the stains, and I was able to remove it. It was an unknown brand of superglue, although if I remember right, it was gel based. It is a bit tedious, both scrubbing steps taking about 30 seconds (for a light stain) to over a minute (for deep stains), but maybe it's worth it Do what you will of this information. Thank you so much for your well explained comment. Here you have described all the things very succinctly. Yes, there is a risk of color fading if you keep acetone for a long time. So you need to acquire some skills or do a trial run before the final operation as this simple hack can save your expensive clothes from getting ruined. Anyway appreciate your great comment.
@@tips390. Is there a method for industrial strength glue like used in factories etc. ? All the typical remedies don’t work and I’m running out of jeans. 🙄
@prissylovejoy702 I’m sorry about your situation. Anyway please note that all most all glues are dissolve in pure acetone but sometimes it can fades fabric colour. All instant adhesives are more or less similar in terms of composition. I believe the tricks will be effective against it but don’t forget to apply acetone/nail polish remover on top
Thanks for asking. Please be informed gorilla glue and Super glue both are similar in nature and dissolve in acetone. In few nail polish remover have certain percentage of acetone that plays main role in dissolving. Therefore nail polish remover application can remove super glue from fabric but make sure it contains acetone or not and fabric is compatible☺️ Wish you all the best
Gorilla glue is polyurethane type and it tends to be stronger and will last longer than super glue. I’m not sure it will be removed or not in this procedure but you may try acetone on top
Warning: this method broke down the cotton fibers of my jeans before actually dissolving the glue. Still have a hard spot on my pants but now I have a hole in my expensive jeans.
I’m really sorry to know. In this process skill and patience are the key. I am not sure how do you applied. It is truly effective when applied as shown and working for little glue exposed area. Anyway again sorry for your expensive jeans damage. Can you please think about to utilise it by doing some repair activity?

Use knife to cut top of finger off at angle. The exposed sharp end of the finger bone can then be used to scrap off the CA glue. Or, you could wet the area with water pour salt over the affected area and rub for say 30 seconds. Rinse off if that is possible at the time or just brush off the surplus salt. Don’t rub the salted area with the finger you cut the top off with. The salt will sting like crazy and the blood will stain the cloth. You could also ask an adult to fix it for you too.
@@tips390 well, i brushed for like 10 minutes, i let it alone for 5 minutes, added more salt, more baking powder and then cleaned with water, then a sollution for stains, now they are drying and the glue is deffinetly still there, the same as before
I’m really sorry for that but it works for scattered glue and I didn’t try for big volume. Anyway you may apply some acetone based nail polish remover on this

Only absolute alcohol can dissolve super glue. Then you collect absolute alcohol and dip glue exposed area of you pant for 3-5 minutes. It think it will work

hot clue and CA glue are very different. this method wont hurt but maybe a hot iron and coffee filters to suck the glue off, this works with candle wax... which is a completely different thing then hot glue... good luck
Work nahi kiya to ?me 3/4 vid dekh kar apni jeanse par try kaiya but wo tricks dosen't work or meri jeanse ka colore bhi light ho gaya glue nikal ne ke chakkar me😢😢
