From last 20+ years I am Swedish National, so I don't know what will be printed on passport. But whatever you apply for will be printed on passport. Usally for work or study you get *Resident Permit* , not Visa.
For tourist visa you can travel any time during the validity period of visa. For Residence Permit you should visit during the time what you will state in application. Usually small delays don't matter much.

If you just wish to visit him, you must check which country you come from, if you need visa or if you don't and if you're intending to be there for less than 3 months. @@BiraoMJLapiz It depends on the country you come from. Since I am from Brazil, I just needed my passport, invitation letter from my girlfriend who's Swedish and travel insurance. I didn't need to apply for a visa. Instead of an invitation letter, you may present the check in of a hotel. It's important to present the return-flight tickets as well

If you are serious, then, just marry legally. It costs almost nothing to marry and keep joint ownership of whatever assets you have ( e.g Bank Accounts).

Yes, of Course (if your partner agrees) and you can do it within Sweden (especially if your baby is small and if you are a women). If you are a men then probably you need a proof from DNA tests that he/she is your baby.

I am not sure, but, usually it takes long time to make a final decision on the applications. However it should not get long time to get first email after your spouse have applied. Did you check the contents of application submitted by your spouse? Did she enter correct email address? After you have checked with your spouse everything about the application, you may send an email to migrationverket to check the status. But after you have sent them email, wait fir their reply as sometime they take several months to reply back. In Sweden nothing works fast.

@@usmi3823 The whole process is concluded for an average of 18 months. Yes, that's a lot ! Have they already asked you guys to have a visit in the embassies? I applied day 7th December and today (13th) they updated the process confirming my documents and on my page on migrationsverket there were a form there where I could estimate how long the process could take and it went 18 months. Previously I have read that this is the average time indeed. They haven't asked me to visit the embassy already though (which is in Brasília - Brazil in my case), what about your partner ?
@@dennercassio yeah i know but most of the people get there answer in 6 month or 4 month now its my application 6 month and few days now. and some times i just feel so anxious why they took so much time. really hope they read and send mail for interview.

It depends, the estimated time you can get from Migrationsverket Web site. But remember what time you get from Migrationsverket website is just an estimation. The actual time it takes varies case by case.
As I know, By default, you should apply from the country where you are residing and have residence permit. So if you are residing in Malaysia then you should apply from Malaysia.
