Why is it a pipe dream? Do you need a black amex? Of course not. But why can't you make the money ? This country is one of the few in the world where You can take an idea out of the ether and make that $hi# happen!
Amex looks at the overall cardmember relationship and as Brian mentioned, that does determine annual spend requirement. Type of spend does play a small role in getting an invite, ie, Media buys vs business travel and entertainment etc. Rule of thumb for personal card invite is $1 million of spend in a 2-3 year period and about $3-10 million for business card invites.
I believe it, they don't want to dilute the value of the card. The reason why the income requirement is so low is that the wealthy do not typically have a high income, because you'll get destroyed on taxes. So typically they would have a lot of assets and can borrow against those assets.
There are actually 4 versions of the Centurion card. The Centurion Personal “Vanila”, the Goldman Sachs personal, the business one and the corporate Centurion Card. Great video Brian!
Great video thanks. Right now I use the united airlines explorer card the best buy card the city rewards plus card and the m life las vegas card from the bank of Omaha I am not sure what amrican express credit card to get yet
How about a no Annual fee Black Card now that would be great. They should have one for Amex Members who are loyal for 5 years and sent a invitation to own one it would have some of the perks.
