Im too compelled to have all the field skill bases covered. Nothing isnore annoying than not being able to grab a chest in the depths of an everden. So unfortunately I cant shoehorn narga into any party line up. Wich sucks becausenarga is awesome.
I appreciate the tip. I got the Tigrex and Zinogre at level 15 and 16. The tops work. Just double team, use kinship and the other tips he has provided. So now I have both royal monsters, Ratha, another Rathian in my party
Thanks for mentioning that the save reloading works on the cave. I was constantly fighting him again and again to try and get a better egg. Even with the save reloading though Zinogre was so stingy with giving me a "rainbow glow" egg.
Important note about changing the element of monsties: it doesn’t really work properly as in the monstie will lose its new element and revert back to the old one by leveling up a few times aswell certain kinship attacks not actually having the new element. Reason being at least it’s speculated the devs said they didn’t intend to have this feature anymore in stories but it seems some of the code that’s still from stories 1 wasn’t removed properly so now we have a buggy elemental change feature. Just as a little fyi
I keep killing it before I can break the final part I will give up first time seeing it now I want one I'm level 21 putting in work thanks for the video
Zinogre is one of the easiest royal monsties to beat although I recommend being at least level 23 and you'll have no problem beating it with the monsties you have and if you want recommendations, I used: pukei pukei for technical, royal ludroth for power and tigrex for speed. If you don't have a royal ludroth with good genes then I say go with monoblos or any power monstie that has ice attacks to boost up retreat when you hit it with a paintball, flash bomb and deliver a final ice attack which will increase your chances to get it to retreat.
I'll probably wait till Yumi is level 25 before going for Zinogre that way she'll have have two Speed attacks with Vengeful Ice Tail, and Cold Blast, a Technical attack with Ice Spear yeah I got a Zamtrios who I was going to use just give Yumi Ice Spear via the Rite of Channeling, and a Power attack with Freezing Burst.
@@derrickhaggard should use multiple monsties to preserve king ship energy and perfom multiple Kingships strikes, but any method works since zinogre isn't that hard just remember zinogre changes his element attacks backwards from speed to technical when charged to finally power when he's angry.
Absolutely worth it, he was the main team monstie He's very strong and can make many bosses easy since many have thunder weakness Consider putting ( chomp gene s ) from red khezu into it + any no element power type move you have to cover all 3 types And he will carry you through the game easily
I find hims significantly easier then Tigrex primarily because Tigrex can double attack and crit one shot. Zinogre don't auto crit like tigrex and can't double attack.
Thank god some monsters are changing attack tendencies, I'm playing through MHS1 before this one and I swear there is just an overflow of power monsties...
If I'm level 25, will it be possible for Zinogre to retreat at all? I've been doing this all day with Rathian armor and Paintballs when he starts drooling, and he hasn't retreated once.
@@finalaleks.6663 you have to defeat a monster for them to retreat. If they flee it doesn't count. Throw the paintball after drooling, defeat them within 3 turns. If they're still alive after 3 turns you need a new paintball.
Hey can I ask for an idea for lvl? Just got to the ice valley at ruffly lvl 20ish. I got most of what you advised I just what I a good idea when I can try and have a ok time.
Dont farm zin for his genes early game just get one off the royal retreat and move on. Unlike most games just push to finish the story sense the majority of the games best monsties and genes are high rank exclusive. Trust me you only hender your self if you try to 100% every zone and catch everything sense everything you catch will have low tier genes. Not saying dont get a zin or monsties you like just dont min max till end game where your getting high rank mats and genes as well as more consistent rare monstie eggs. Trust me i tried to min max and suffered for it by wasting over 100 hours hatching low tier monsties and clearing every den for bottlecaps when their infinite hard rank and start spawning in normal dens.
I don't play turn based so this game is nothing but confusing. Apparently I screwed up from the start and after 10 hours all I have is weak things and I am not starting over. I do not like this game enough to do over
Uh... skills don't stack in this game. Nesting M+Nesting S doesn't add up, you only get the effects of Nesting M. Same goes for the prayer pot. You can only have one effect active at a time
I swear, there is no RU-vidr for this game that actually knows anything, it feels like. If they do know anything, they still don't bother making any corrections to the videos that they put out in ignorance.
Zinogre was increadible easy to defeat gamoth on the other hand still destroys me so dumb I have not used zinogre since I got him like 10 hours ago I just have better monsties aka tigrex
I just realized I can take advantage of the Ice Weakness cause my character she's wearing Lv. 2 Legiana Armor, has a Legiana Sword and Shield known as the Glacial Edge, and currently trying to farm Legiana parts to make the Glacial Shot Bow and get that upgraded along with the armor, and the Glacial Edge upgraded to max, along with currently farming for XP to level up my team including my Legiana Yumi who currently knows Ice Spear via the Rite of Channeling, and from natural level-ups Vengeful Ice Tail, and Cold Blast but she will learn the Power-Type Ice attack Freezing Burst at Lv. 25.
I just fought this guy a few minutes ago. Harrowing battle, but I managed to defeat him decisively, and I actually managed to make him retreat on the very first battle. Suuuuper happy to have this beast. Now I just need another chance to actually cheese Gammoth…
One good tip for fighting Gammoth is use Blunt Weapons as most of it's parts are weak against Blunt Weapons but yeah I was forced to run away from her when she one-shotted my Tigrex Terra with one base attack that did massive damage.
@@derrickhaggard Right right. But as a note, Gammoth only uses power attacks. Make sure your Tigrex has a speed move to order it to use, and have a back up speed monstie if things get hairy, then just keep Speed Doubling him. When he snow clads, pay attention. If there is no Head-To-Head line, Ride On to live the incoming Snow Stomp. Rinse-Repeat until Gammoth falls.
I omage hi riek amen to thos witch this video to get them self a reiuloyzinogor then ones you do rename it juts keep i. Mined its a lighting tep wen nameing tho this is no the loney i reik amen if your up for a swiming tep with lighting i also think lugacuwesis is a ther good 1 to also good for its both water and lighting. This has ben omage hav a nices day
I'll call him Sasuke mostly because Zinogre has that cocky as heck swagger that Sasuke especially in Shippuden and the prelude episodes to the introduction of the Kara organization in Boruto has along with Chidori.
Yeah, Zinogre hits like a freaking truck with non-functioning breaks going down the steepest hill imaginable. Add on to that the fact that he can pretty consistently inflict Paralysis, and you have yourself a really good Monster. And if you are willing to take the time to farm even more Zinogre eggs, you can then improve your main Zinogre even more by Channeling it with the others. He's now locked-in as one of my constant team members both in singleplayer & multiplayer. My current team (I only just reached Kuon Village in the third area) consists of a Zinogre, Tigrex, Monoblos, Rathian, & a Royal Ludroth (I'll probably swap out the Ludroth for that shark....thing, I can't remember it's name atm, once I have the time and have improved it's genes via Channeling.
Literally have killed zinogre 20 times and he won't retreat. :( yes I use paintball and have nesting (s) yet I just have horrible luck. On the bright side I'm level 24 just from killing him lol
Not sure if Tag will see this, but another good way to get Tigerex with only Alwin on your team is tame a Bsarios. They can get both poison gas and fire gas that can be stacked for 300 plus damage every turn. They are also big tank boys too. Got a rainbow tigerex on my first go.
