How to get the best out of your storage heaters 

it's took me 5 years to figure this out. I used to think my storage heaters don't work and I was going to remove them. now my house is nice and warm.

Thanks so much for this. Since moving into my flat I've not had a clue how these work, but the video explains them perfectly. Easy once you know how.

Finally a video that helps. All the other videos on storage heaters cost me money as they said “input on full all the time” Thanks, great simple explanation and saves me ££ too.

Thanks for that good explanation,i drove crazy cause when I need heat nothing came out i leave switch on input and output at max ,left home for 1 week and at return was like sauna and never stop the heat after watching this tutorial i understood how works and how to manage it.

Thank you so freaking much this was insanely helpful I can't even explain! There are two plugs for mine with switches I don't quite understand and a boost. I'm wondering if it's best now days to buy an infrared heater or something though

MrBorderghost: I think you have the manual brick heater, mine does the same but with mine I only need it on for about 30-45mins and it will last for over 8 hours once turned off after 30-45 mins, their are times were I have to open the windows as it gets to hot.

I've got a digital input storage heater. I have it set on max temp, but it only blows cold air out during the day. Any ideas?

Wgat about the other skinnier ones I’ve seen in some flats? The viewing agent said they were electric heaters but not the storage kind
