im a photographer at a attraction and its mad annoying when ppl ask u to take pics of them on their phones, like the elisa in me wants to say yes but the 'i need to make my company look good' elisa has to say no bc if i say yes it'll start this entire line of people wanting me to take their pics on their phones causing my company to lose money and our capture rate to look bad. we take pics of families in front of green screens and one time this one family set up my stools and did a shoot on their phone causing the entire line of people to do so even after i told them they werent allowed to, i was super pissed off that day LMAO

the smell is the chemicals in the water! instead of using chlorine (where you have to continually add it because once the chemical bonds to the dirt it goes away) they use bromine that continually cleans without having to add more! they use it in all of their water rides

The smell you are smelling in the water ride is actually Bromine... it is what they clean the water. It works better then chlorine, but it is more expensive.

Splash mountain smells unfamiliar because it isn’t with chlorine but another chemical that’s more expensive, cleaner and smells better than chlorine. That’s why you never smell it, most places wouldn’t pay the extra money.
