The tenor banjo is a unique and versatile instrument. I highly recommend it to mandolin, mandola, violin and viola players. It gives the user a range of musical styles between the old world and the new. Thanks for watching!
I have the exact same banjo, and I cant seem to get the G string in tune. I have the same strings as you do as well. Any ideas? I like the ise of the capi too.
Check the location of your bridge. Make sure it is in the right location (same distance from the nut to the 12th fret) and tilted slightly higher than the e string. Otherwise you may need to have the tuner replaced.
That's interesting. It's the same trick as using a capo at 5 on a guitar to give guitar-ukele tuning, or Low-G ukelele if you ignore the 2 lowest strings.
I haven’t been able to get a copy of this album yet, but someone uploaded Elmer Snowden’s classic “Harlem Banjo”. Check it out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-t3hYy-Y5x34.html
