Another way that Nadia grew her channel was through collaborating with other more successful RU-vidrs. She provided value in unique content, and in exchange, they shared their audience with her.
Ariel's first subscriber was her Mom, husband, or her dog's fake RU-vid channel.
Ariel contributes consistency as her biggest reason for growth and success. Telling her audience that what to expect, like uploading every Wednesday, helped a ton.
Hitting her first 1,000 subscribers came to Ariel when she was daily vlogging.
Rebecca got her first 1,000 subscribers where they put up low-quality videos where they didn't think much about it. As her first channel, it didn't do the best.
WIth Pins and Things, but she was surprised when it hit 1,000 subscribers. She attributes her content to being helpful, legitimate, and thought through is how her channel grew.
She noticed that tutorial channels grew faster than others.
