Use a bic lighter flame around the lid threads in a flash back n forth motion while spinning the jar with other hand..works everytime

Oh, my, this totally worked! I was trying to open a jar of raw honey for hours it had a mason jar lid. It took me doing it a couple of times.less than 30 secondsjzr was open.!!! Thank you

My mason jar lid is in 2 pieces. The screw part is off. But the other part of the lid is still stuck

Worked immediately, I was going insane, pouring boiling water over the ring, soaking the top in boiling water, hitting the ring with dull side of a knife, etc., etc. first.

To get the inner lid off, use a butter knife and gentle pry around it.

Im making my own vanilla extract, the lid got stuck and wouldn't come off. If it wasn't for this video i wouldn't be able to use it. (Vanilla beans are expensive)
