Hi you can include Grab from arrival hall which I took with my family and it cost $344 thai baht to Berkeley Hotel in Pratunam area where the airport taxi (queuing type) cost $700 thai baht travelling to the same destination, for sharing with my experience
This a no brainer, I recently used the airport Link from Suvarnabhumi airport to Phaya Thai station in heart of Bangkok for 45 THB,quick, efficient fast comfortable ride only 25 minutes.
Traffic in Bangkok is commonly congested. If I go to my hotel in Sukhumvit from the BKK airport with a small family, which is the best option and value for money? Train vs taxi vs bus? thanks
We took the taxi from the airport to Asoke road, Sukumvit yesterday. It cost us 500 bahts, 2 people, 2 large luggage including highway toll and 50 baht airport charge.
Hi Shaun.would like to know approximate price from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Novotel platinum hotel for taxi?will b traveling to Bangkok soon with family.hesitant to take airport taxi or private taxi.

Hello my hotel is on Nonthubari near impact arena. Ill be watching concert on October 1,2022 can u recommend me a service from BKK Airport to Nonthubari? Thanks
Videos like these are incredibly helpful. I am travelling to Bangkok i november, and I always love being prepared with the practical stuff like getting from the airport to the hotel. Travel days are always a bit stressful, so it's good to be prepared.
On 28nov i will go to bangkok, and i plan to use grab Taxi or cars, and its say i have to go to Floor 2, Door 3 & 7 (outer lane) Floor 4, Door 1-10, it is correct?
I am going to get rental car from airport for one, two weeks, and drop it back same location. How to pay tolls gates on highway , will be going to chang mai, rai, phuket etc, And which forex cards are best fi, niyo etc. Nice vid..
Great job. Dee mak mak. At last, a Thai youtuber who gives straight clear instructions. I am not sure about the Express Line for Airport Link as I travel by LCC carriers to Don Mueang although my hotel is in Ramkamhaeng. The Airport Link ends at Phaya Thai BTS so you can purchase a Rabbit Card to travel the Sukhumvit line, which is now extended to more stations until Kheha to the north and also more stations after Mo Chit. I rent a car upon arrival at either airports but I do like to take one day off from driving and use the BTS or MRT to enjoy Bangkok from above with the BTS or underground with the MRT. Buses, taxis are cheap, use the Green and Yellow cabs as they are owned by the drivers.
This is so helpful and detailed Chon, especially showing the fees in small print - thanks! To help your audience both hear and read your audio, could you enable CC on your videos? 🎉
@@friendsfromthailandtravelguide Great video but very noisy Chon you need a microphone 🎤 near to your mouth so we can hear from you properly also CC would be great 👍 👌
Riding on a train and transfer at MTR sounds great … but in reality .. you’re pulling couple of big luggage .. taxi is still the way to go .. door to door .. cheap and convenient … We visited Bangkok many times over … stood by the booth and she or he would write down the hotel .. gave it to the driver .. always meter .. no questions asked .. But last month they had these new machines .. that you pushed out ticket .. walking to the lane with taxi driver waiting .. BUT he had the nerve to ask for fixed price .. though not an outrageous price .. 400 balts .. but we insisted on meter .. turned out to be 350 with toll and 50 airport fee
Hello Chon, this is your brand new friend from the USA. Just a few days ago I found you here in RU-vid and started watching your great videos. What a pleasant surprise it is to find someone local like yourself to explain the important information in great detail, I love it. Please keep up the good work and continue giving us great content. Salud amigo! Maybe we will run into each other while in Bangkok and share a Leo or two.....lol My wife and I will be visiting your country in March 2023 and your videos are helping me so much, specially this one because I had no idea about how to get to my hotel from the airport. My flight arrives at 0030 in the morning so according to your video my transportation options are limited at that time of the morning.
This video is very resourceful even for a local Thai who travels in and out of the country frequently. Learned several tips I never knew myself! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the video. Please try to add the subtitles next time. Because of the airport noice/music and facemask it is a little hard to understand now and then. But great info anyway. 😉😊 Kapkungrap
hi, I have a question for you. I use a e cig in France but it's not allowed in Thaïlande. I've Heard about something called nicopouches but I'm not sure it's allowed. there is no tabaco inside, just nicotin. do you know if i Can bring it with me? thanks you for your answer.
thank you so much!!!! i was able to take ARL before midnight since it's my first time in Bangkok!! also I had my lunch at the Thai Street Food at the airport while waiting for my flight --- the prices are far from airport price which made me feel like i wasn't at the airport since the foods are so yummy and prices are the same as in the neighborhood Bangkok street food 🎉
Hi! I will be staying at Novotel Platinum Pratunam and do I get off at Ratchaprarop station to walk to hotel or change to BTS for Chilom station. Thanks
Hello, this video is useful, do you have any videos for best 5 star hotels? Have been looking at Sukosol Bangkok. Is it un a good location and is it within walking distance to Central world?
Hi Chon. Arriving 1st Nov afternoon SQ flight. 5 adult pax 5 items normal size luggage. Family. How to get good van from suvarnabhumi to the Berkeley Hotel Pratunam ? Normal taxi stand vans available? Any idea of cost ?
Hello. What is the best way to get to Asai hotel in chinatown from Suvarnabhumi Airport? Rail Airllink (direct?), regular taxi (estimate cost?) or bus? Thanks.
Hello your video is really helpful I have 1 question if I'm buy ticket of bts or bus how it's payment system? Can I pay with Visa prepaid card? Please, answer my question.
I would like to go from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Montien Riverside Hotel through bus so can anyone tell me which bus would go there. Read that it's too far from airport.
Back in 2016 after Christmas we arrived in Bangkok. Me and my mom got the taxi que then take the taxi to Don Muang Airport and the taxi driver didn't want to use the taxi meter at first but then he turn it on and it was 440 baht which he was going to charge us 500 baht at first so once he turn on the meter and it was 440 baht. We give him 500 baht and said to keep the change..lol. Now me and my husband next trip in 2024 to the Millennium Hilton Bangkok is to use the airport link or get an airport shuttle (thai called it airport transfer) in the hotel description. Just wondering which transportation is the best for one night from Suvarnabhumi Airport when we arrive on November 30th and fly out of Bangkok to Udon the next day on Dec 1, 2024? After that we'll be back to Bangkok to stay for the remainder of the week and fly out the 13th or 14th. Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Hi, Thank you very much for your vlog. It's very informative la especially for tourists looking for cheapest options to get to the city or their hotels. My hotel is just nearby the airport. What mode of transportation do you suggest? short taxi or bus?
Good and clear information. There are price differences and advantages to each mode. Convenience and time are really good to know. Airport links is the quickest and cheapest if your destination is close to one of the stops. Taxi is most customized, but more expensive. Bus is less expensive, but at the mercy of the route. I love Thailand because of all the affordable options. Khob khan khap for a very good VDO!
Airport link Express line close since long even before Covid19 ..... good to see Airport link working again for passengers.......nice work, keep it up 🙏🏻
