How to get to downtown Denver using Denver RTD from Denver International Airport

We start from outside the airport doors and down the steepest and longest escalator I have ever seen and get on the Denver RTD A line to Union Station. You will ride RTD until the last stop.

This is also how to get to the bus gates if you want to take the RTD buses from the airport. At the bottom of the escalator turn around and head back toward the bus gates instead of straight ahead to the trains.

did you find them to be punctual? we need them in the very early morning hours to get to amtrak station from the airport and are a little concerned.

Getting from the airport to downtown (Union Station) is easy. The A line from the airport leaves every 10 minutes and take about 45 minutes. The A line shuts down about 3AM briefly.
