Once you get to the first mikulas cross when you can go up through the cave or over the bridge. if you go over the bridge there should be a fort and pass the fort will be the castle front. It is right before the dark hold. It's a key point of Grace before setting off a flag for a world change.

There's a hut nearby with a albanuric and a talisman, the area isn't that big

@@johnking2631 I would guess there are a lot of areas that are a bit sparse on loot, not everywhere is going to be stuffed full of stuff, (minor spoiler ahead) if you haven't already if you use the o mother gesture infront if the marika statue to the right of the shadow keep back gate grace it opens up to the fields of the right, I know it's not related to the chalice area but the remembrance boss was guarding more than just a talisman and 5 fragments

For the abyssal woods what he left out is that you have to do nearly the whole dungeon and it's right before getting to the library's lift, you instead have to turn around and go down the ramp and activate the shortcut from the hippo boss fight. from there you can then go back through the shortcut and along the path you can have a shorter way to get to the abyssal woods. Basically it's halfway through the dungeon before going up the large lift garden by messmer knight, you instead turn around and go down the ramp and open the door shortcut. But he doesn't tell you that he already got the shortcut Because that's what his instructions are going off of.

The ramp is guarded by about 5 shadow militiamen right by the burning boats
