Hi. That’s exciting. Once you get off the ferry, go the right side and just follow the main street and you’ll see lots of people taking photos, that is the spot :) enjoy!

On the selecting of routes I didn't see that you selected bus>train, but I only see 2 options here? 1:02 please clarify, thx

Hi bro, nice information...is it possible day trip from Salzburg to Hallstatt and return to Salzburg in the evening?? How to return from Hallstatt to Salzburg?

Hi. Yes, but you need to have a car if you want to return at night time. There’s no train or ferry that runs late at night.

I went for a holiday in Austria in 2019. I took a day tour from Salzburg, I think it was called Sound of Music tour which included a trip to Hallstat. We returned to Salzburg in the evening.
