Appreciate you almost a year later... I missed this area on my first playthrough and now on my second missed it again. Both times I didn't see the opening in the pipe. Even following this video, it's difficult to understand how people are supposed to find this on their own without getting lost and trying somewhere else.

I can only imagine the brainstorm they must have had at FromSoftware about this part of the game Game devs : "How are gamers supposed to figure out by themselves how to find this main boss if we hide it at the bottom of these confusing and endless underground labyrinths without any story guideline?" Miyazaki : "The gamer must be clueless and play it blind" Game devs : "They will skip this boss!" Miyazaki : "No, they will get backstabbed by a random enemy, fall off the cliff and see what's at the bottom. This is their clue" Game devs : "Wait, they need to die to find out where to go?" Miyazaki : "Dying is the plan, yes" This is exactly how a girl on a playthrough that I just watched found out about it. She fell off a cliff and saw the site of grace at the bottom. lol

I didnt even go down there. I have just beaten Godfrey and I remembered about dung eater ha ha like oops let me see what he’s up to and now I can take out Mohg ha ha even though I’ve already destroyed him at mohgwyns palace

Those doors across from the ladder literally don't exist in my game. I have the standard locked door in the main area- but once you go down the grate, and through the path up the latter to open the GIANT door, in my game the open doors I see in everyone else's just aren't there. It's just a wall. I am SO frustrated

It just took me a fuckin hour exploring earlier to unlock all the doors in the tunnel and get to mohgs save point. I wanted to wrap up as much as i could before i try the dlc

Does beating Maliketh the Black Blade cancel out this Mohg, or another other fights/bosses? Or achievements. Please respond asap as im playing rn and bout to beat Mohg even though I fought and lost to Maliketh then looked up some stuff on Black Blade and it mentioned some stuff gets locked out because of the ash remains of Lyndell after Maliketh. Hope I made sense lol

Mohg is actually painful to fight. Similar to the Margit fight but with AoEs and less space. Also he destroys anything you summon into the fight.

I cannot believe some guides state that the boss is located ‘earlier in the subterranean shunningrounds’. Thx for the guide 💯
