If you people honestly believe dota is easy I encourage you to compete and win millions of dollars. Its easy right go do it nothing is stopping you. Easiest money you'll ever earn. Unless you're all talk no show.
It's not as hard as they make it sounds in this video, that being said most people are retarded that's why they will never be able to master the game. I've seen players with 2-3k hours on it that will do retarded shit like not buy boots until 50 minutes or buy completely useless items.
I don't care about all haters above and beyond. It's good video and easy to watch (for an expert in Dota 2) but ending was disappointing. Please say few words at the end to summarize Your video.
yea i was like getting really hyped up................but then it just fucking ended..........most dissapointing video ever.........could've added a bit more
If you haven't played Dota 2 for at least 500 hours, you know nothing about this game. It is the most challenging competitive game in its genre. The grand tournament winners have played this game for at least 10 years, and most of them have easily at least 15000 hours spent in this game.
Not really 500 hours. I mean, just a hundred and you'll figure that out. Unless you're really new to the MOBA scene where you don't even know how to move.
Vishakh Kannan this exactly^ and don't try to say some bullshit like if you learn one hero you'll learn a cluster of them because that is not how it works
All I can say is when a person that has no idea starts to play dota 2 cuz he was interested. It could take a year for him to realize all the bullshit and things to win games with thousands of strategies. Dota 2 is the hardest game ever created same goes for dota 1 the original GOD
DotA is somewhat like chess as far as how much effort/time is required to pick up and subsequently master the game. Learning the basics for either isn't dead simple, but it isn't out of this world hard either. Really learning the intricacies requires a huge amount of study and practice. Then, even if you do that, you'll be up against other people who have done the same, so the game remains incredibly difficult. Those who play at such an advanced level are just playing it in a whole different way from those who haven't put the same amount of time and effort into it.
everyone is hating on dota 2 and esports. but here's the thing, it has a fuckton of cash involved in it so people are going to get into it. thats life get over it
the thing about DOTA is that you can live your normal life as an adult and just as you load the first game age is reversed and you become an angry 12 year old with passion for killing!
This reporter is way better than that Matt Shea guy you had earier. This one actually tries to understand what is going on instead of trying to hit on the ladies.
Not only he was one of the people to start noob stream ,he literally requested Lord Gaben again and again and brought back the noob stream as newcommer stream in TI7 ! If he is not the guy ,then i don't know who is!
2000 hours aint much, i had over 6000 hours just on one game and on one name on one account on origin in old bf2142, then over 2400 on the second name, and so on up to 12 names/3 bf2142's with 4 names on each account all unlocked every rank and weapons. So to become world elite in 2000 hours is very good, but 2000 hours aint much playing each day, when i played bf2142 back in the days i used min 8 hours each day on the game for many years.
It's funny to read people's comments raging "eSports are not sports". At times I've seen Dota matches being more competitive and intense than a football match. I doesn't have to be physical so you can call it a sport.
Well I talked shit about VICE how they treated esports before, now I'm really glade they made some effort to actually introduce to people what the game is and why it is hard but so addictive. Nice job on this one
I am glad my brother introduced me to DOTA 1. Haven't looked back ever since. May not have much time to play the game these days (played 1514 hours) but will always be passionate about it.
5minute is not enough at all. You should have talked about The Internationals , documentary film made by valve. That way, people would learn more about dota2
been playing this game since november of 2013, although some people i play with are literally toxic and cry babaies, some people are capable of good leadership and encouraging the team to win.its just an everyday life of dota. Whenever i play this game. I do get rampage, sometimes i get flamed. I do tilt. and i do suck, some people call me good , some people call me a bad player. but between those lines 2 things only matter. either u Win or u Lose. but outside of this game is just us having fun btw dota had developed my tolerance over stress much more higher. because i play with random people most of the time in pubs. second is i do always get the offlane position.i dont want to get in an argument with the others even though i dont want my lane. remember dota2 is 5v5, itll just make the game worse -by3kscrubdotaplayer
It isn't Rewarding. It is Anything but Rewarding. Rewarding is a Just a Lie or an Excuse for you being Addicted of the Hours they have Conned from you. That's What he means by 'Rewarding;
This is Wack 1000 to 2000 hours on a video game come on are you serious don't you care about your financial future??? I get it If you win a tournament you get 11mil but that top players and only a 1 in a million shot I'm an Investment Banker I'm not say I don't play the occasional call of duty game but come on 2000 hours on a video that's over kill.
Man i am not sure that Sunsfan would be realy your guy to explain dota alteast from all the dota cummunity :D, Gosh he actualy did worst then i expected :D also first blood does almoust change nothing, except for ingame predicition
The current TI, The International 10, has a 40M$ prize pool. Was supposed to happen in 2020 will probably happen this 2021. 4,300+ hours and just got into Divine Rank. -_-
I just wanna say it's a horrible video title, this is more of a look into dota not how to get to the super bowl of sports. Come on vice I expect better from you
Most simple way to explain it, is imagine Dota as a pendulum, and teams need to acquire enough momentum to push the ball to the other side which kills enemy base. You gain momentum from better drafting, from farming more, from taking objectives(towers, rax, shrines). But you can also lose that momentum and the ball can start swinging back
ahah the troll comments doesn't seem to understand, if dota is anything, it's about lyrical abuse. Install the game (hey, it's free) and join a game, if you are not borderline suicidal within your first day, you're not in dota. What I'm saying is, youtube trolls are nothing compared to dota players, I pride myself upon this.
3-0 against Newbee but the lower bracket run was the hardest. they fought, Secret, Empire, VP, LGD, LFY, Newbee. In conclusion, they were the last hope to stop a chinese team from repeating to win a Ti and they did so.
