How To Get To This Super-Secret Viewing Area On Top Of The Bridge On The Ruby Princess!

‪@backroadstourist‬ We recently cruised to Alaska on the Ruby Princess and stumbled upon two secret unmarked doors that lead to the roof of the bridge. This viewing area is remarkable and, iin my opinion, the best place to get great views on your cruise. There are two ways to get there and I'll show you both!

Great video! We were on the September 4-10 cruise to Alaska. It looks like you may have been on the one right before or after us (It was pouring rain in Juneau when we were there). We found it wasn't very crowded either. Great place for photos- and you weren't kidding about the wind leaving SF Bay! Such a blast!

Perfect timing of this video. I’m leaving on a Princess Grand Alaska cruise on 9/9/23!!! Love this!

The Grand has a little bit of a different layout than the Ruby does, and I'm not sure if you can get on top of the bridge. I checked out the deck plan online and it's not 100% clear. It looks like there may be a public area on top of the bridge, but I don't see any doors leading to it on the deck plan. You may have to do a little exploring to find it. Good luck and enjoy your cruise!

You can get to the top of the Bridge on the Grand I found my way up there a few years ago and we leave for a Panama cruise this March on the Ruby So you can bet where I'll be! Thank you. @@backroadstourist
