CLARIFICATION 1) This is not fake. 2) You can find master balls but it is only a 1% chance and since it is repeatable it is technically UNLIMITED (only limited by how much time you want to put into it.) 3) You can get any of the fossils in the cave. 4) The items respawn based on steps taken. 5) If you want to farm master balls properly do the following: Go to the cave (DO NOT TAKE ANY OF THE ITEMS). Check how many items are in the room by going from spot to spot and check your starters tail. If there are a lot of items (I would say 7+) go to one of the spots and save. Take all the items and if you get a master ball congratulations! If you do not get one close the game and start it again to soft reset and pick up all the items again. Rinse repeat untill you get what you want. Then leave and take a lot of steps or do something else for a while and whenever you feel like it. (Farming master balls any other way than this is pure torture and a waste of time.) Hope this has clarified some of the confusion from the vid. Happy hunting!

The spawn time isn't 10-15 mins, it is based of steps taken. Leave the cave, mount a flying pokemon, fly around for 1-2 mins it's reset.

1:23 I chose the dome fossil, and later on I found 2 dome fossils and 2 helix fossils. So no matter which one you chose, you can still get either in Cerulean Cave.

how many have you obtained from it so far? I haven't gotten any master balls and I've been chaining Chansey and checking the Stardust spots for like 3 hours, I've got various gold berries and ultra balls, normal pokeballs (oddly enough no great pokeballs yet after 3 entire hours) and only found 1 fossil, assuming I'm not just unlucky how unlikely are the master balls?

Some people are finding one in their first ten minutes of being in the cave, others are having worse luck, it's about a 1% chance so it's very rare

It is actually click baiting. Yes, you can technically get unlimited masterballs if you have all the time in the world. But, his wording is misleading. Perhaps you'd rather call it crafty marketing. But by definition he is baiting people to click on his video and get views. You don't have to lie for it to be "click bait" by definition.

Comical98 I'm well aware of the reference... thanks for that. Luring people in to watch it is exactly what the title is doing. As I stated before, the title doesn't have to be untrue in order to be considered a lure. Therefore it is "click bait" (a term which has been demonized to the point that people don't understand how to identify it anymore) or "crafty marketing/advertising". Ahgmi, the title is misleading because it leads people to believe that there is a direct way to obtain as many masterballs as you want. A code, glitch, cheat or something of the sorts rather than an a game of chance the doesn't guarantee anything.

You can get both the helix and dome fossil regardless of which one you picked in mt moon. I have also gotten multiple old amber drops so you can get all 3 fossils regardless

You can get both fossils + old amber, regardless of which fossil you chose.

Save before you look. If you like what you got, You can turn off the game(not sleep/stand by) and restart the game. The item will be randomized. Add, You can make over 100k doing the Elite 4 with 2-3 pokemon with max PP Payday. It takes about 20 mins.

It’s not reset off of time at all, it’s completely based on steps. And the fossils are completely random. You have an equal chance to find either or regardless of which you originally chose.

I’ve farmed this cave for shinys for hours and hours checking the spawns every time they’re up and got all those other things you talked about many many fossils but no master balls, also did you like quit the game shortly after you beat it? farming monster doesnt really do much especially when you can use berry and such . but its kinda essential to shiny hunters since they dont want the rare shiny pokemon ran away. because legendary in this game is rather easy to catch even with pokeballs. but its also not waste of time since you can found many golden berries that worth sellings , big pokemon like chansey and snorlax that gives much exp help you leveling to 100 real quick. in other words no need to focus on master balls , just catch pokemon , levelings , pickup whatever items and repeat.

All three fossils can be obtained in the glowing spots of light, you just need to be lucky enough. On my first run through the cave, I got another dome fossil(1st was Mt moon) and a helix fossil.

I keep checking there every day, for few tries and got no masterball ever. However according to serebii it indeed does have a chance to have masterball hidden in the ground! I wouldn't bother checking it if it wasn't for this video! So yes, you are correct it is possible, thank you for telling us!

I noticed when the chancy popped up it was green for you... They are always yellow or orange for me. Also when you caught him you got 16k exp... I always get around 1k.

Mark Legg After you’ve caught Mewtwo it will turn green, put him in slot 1 in your party and the circles will be green

The more of a Pokemon you catch, the easier they become to catch. The difficulty decreases with each catch, up to a maximum of 99 caught. After catching a lot of chansey, you will start to notice the circle is green more often, and then eventually it will be green all the time

Next to the glowing rock in that first area you were in will net you dome, helix AND amber. It doesn’t matter what you chose.

TRUE: you CAN indeed find masterballs in the cave. FALSE: the respawn rate for these items are timebased... you have to run around in order for these to respawn! you can stand next to such a spot for however long you want, it will NOT respawn. with enough steps another hidden item will appear. If you save before checking all the spots you can farm even faster by resetting everytime after checking without succes

I thought it was based on steps, I guess not. I usually try to chain Chansey, although half the time I break my chain before I get to 31 because the chancey runaway. And the other half of the time, I tried to change Snorlax but it takes more than an hour to get more than two or three.

Im sorry but ive grinded abt 100 hours on this game and items do spawn but it is fact that they spawn random every 24 hours. Pikachu will “bob” his tail to tell you where they are. Enough said there ARE NO EXTRA MASTER BALLS in game unless we have events.

You can get a dome fossil even if you pick dome fossil in mt. moon but I think its rare because I only got one extra one while I got like over 5 helix's

wow... the pokeball equivelant of a nuclear bomb. silph companys pride and joy... the very prototype of which was the reason why the rockets held the building on lockdown. can be farmed with little to no effort. that is... DISGUSTING.

@@iba0232 its disgusting because the master ball is SUPPOSED to be for that one pokemon. you know the one. the legendary with the low catch rate a shiny with a low catch rate. it was limited to one per game in normal playthroughs (with slight, SLIGHT chances in later gens thanks to the lottery or gamefreak events) SOLELY because the master ball is a gamebreaker otherwise. by making it a repeating spawn, congrats, the master ball is no longer special. it's about as common as zubats. theres no more skill needed. just hork a master ball for every encounter. so long as you grind, youll always have it. catch rate, hp, how you throw it no longer matters. for story reasons and gameplay reasons, that's disgusting. this is among many reasons why us old guard look at lets go with a scowl. it's far, far too easy. it was saying something, when x/ys story looks challenging in comparison. you might as well just use an action replay, you damn cheater. but, hey, it still isnt... horrible... but i just hope gen 8 doesnt take into account let's go's lack of difficulty. and certainly not to such game-breaking lengths as this dirty exploit.

The Master Ball I got from Saffron City I had to use on a Meltan I sent over from Pokemon Go. No matter what I did that thing didn’t want to be caught. I used Ultra Balls with a Golden Raspberry and even got an Exlent throw and it still kept popping back out. So, I do need a second Master Ball for Mewtwo. I am not going through the headache of Mewtwo doing that as well.

In another in-depth-video it's said that these items 'spawn' after 256 steps taken. The fastest way to do so is by flying with a capable Pokémon around the city for a minute or so. That is way faster than walking in the cave for 10-15 minutes as adviced from you ;)

Damnit I wish I screenshotted my screen when I found a master ball in that cave! My brother was pissed when I showed him. But you absolutely can get master balls in the cerulean cave. I can technically prove it because I caught mewtwo in a master ball so the fact I now have a master in my catching pocket and the mewtwo I have in my Pokémon box shows as being caught in a master ball with the OT being me. I wish I could post some images so that I can prove it. Also you can farm fossils in the cerulean cave. In the mewtwo chamber where there is that m shaped elevated ramp area in the middle is a hidden item spot that always gives you a fossil and it respawns. Also you can get some fossils like the two regular ones and old Amber in the upper floor where you find the most hidden item spots check the big crystals in that room. The funny thing is that I already caught all the legendaries in the game so the only useful purpose for extra master balls would be shinys or specifically shiny legendaries.
