today I demonstrate how I get water from tank to pressure washer! 5ft water hose: amzn.to/39jLddm ryobi preassure washer: amzn.to/3q97rFr submersible pump: amzn.to/3sfaxcS
UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust ru-vid.comUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.
Thanks for the info. It’s so funny moving from Michigan to down near Atlanta and seeing peoples reaction to snow and how even just the tiniest amounts shut things down. I love seeing people’s reaction to snow down here. All the best.
Thank you for sharing this valuable imformation. I am just starting my own washer service and needed to know more. More Blessings is coming your way. Let's clean it up !!!
Our water pressure can’t handle. This year, I’m DETERMINED. Searched for “pressure wash without hose connection.” Scrolled past several people. Saw you. This my dude! Lol thnx
The question(s) that I had were: if I could use a sump pump like a transfer pump, how would I plug it up? and what to do if the sump pump didn't fit inside the tank. I had the same idea in my head that you used for your setup before I saw your video: I already have a 330 gallon tank. The 12v transfer pump kept burning out, so I wanted to use a different method. Your video is exactly what I saw in my mind but didn't know if it would work with the sump pump.
I have a 1.1 gpm electric pressure washer with a 320 gph Drummond water pump and I had it on for about 5 mins but it turned off from over heating can you please help?
Excellent video! Great knowledge to absorb, I’m planning to relocate and start my own business in auto detailing, (something I love to do to my own cars) so why not get paid for it right ?👍🏼
Great video, good info. Quick question, where is a good place to fill up the tank with water ? Besides your house. Something that will fill the tank up quick?
Great great info! Quick question: my pump comes on for about 2-3 minutes then turns off. Just getting started so it was wondering if it needs to have a certain amount of water in order to keep it running? Thanks in advance
Pregunta, si estoy puliendo con un g8 o g9 de Griot's Garage y veo que comienza a arrojar polvillo, es eso que tengo que tirarle aire o cepillo al foam ¿verdad? Para remover la congestión que tiene?
Thank you for the video. Excellent idea for my situation where there is no water at the work sites. I'm new to pressure washing and have a question though: The instructions of my washer say to run water through the pump without starting the engine by holding the wand handle til there's a stream. My machine does that with a garden hose at my house, BUT, when I hook up the running sump pump...I can't get a stream through the wand with the engine off. When I start the engine it all works fine. It appears the sump pump is pushing water faster than my house was. Is that bad? Is there a pressure 'limit' on how fast it goes into the washer? Seems to work fine. Just can't do the "bleed out the air" step in the instructions. Any thoughts? Thank you in advance for your info and time.
THANKS FOR SHARING, at what point do you turn pump off so that the water feed to pressure washer doesn't burst. as in do you just leave both pump and pressure washer running while completing vehicle or do you turn off after rinsing
this is awesome my only question is do you have to turn pump off and on according to use ? in other words if you stop using the water to relocate will it damage the pump if not turned off great video bro thanx for posting..
Really started watching your videos and loved them! What is the product for that blue standing piece you have ? Been looking all around for it and can’t figure it out.
@@serranosmobile here is a safety reminder about using portable generators. There is something that everyone really needs to be aware of when using generators. I know a lot about generator safety: here is what everyone really needs to know. Many people have died each year when using generators. So please make sure you are using your generator safely even if you already know what you’re doing. You should also be keeping your children safe when you’re using portable generators. Please make sure you that your children are not playing near the portable generator so they won’t get injured. They could get electrocuted or burned by the generator. This is just to be safe and please keep in mind that carbon monoxide is not safe. Remember not to run your generator indoors. Generators can be dangerous if not used carefully. And please make sure you follow the manual instructions carefully. Please don’t run your generator in wet conditions. Portable generators shouldn’t get wet so you won’t get electrocuted or something. Please don’t try to plug a generator cord into a wall outlet to avoid back feeding. Please run your generator 20 feet away from your house. Make sure you install a carbon monoxide detector to keep your family safe. Don’t refuel your generator while it’s running. Please let your generator cool off before you refuel your generator. Please keep in mind that generators pose electrical risks. So please keep your children safe at all times ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I1jT3ANENvI.html and here is a video more about generator safety and keeping your family safe. Just hoping you stay safe as well and be careful with using generator. Thank you
Do you leave that pump in the tank for long periods of time or do you remove it each day after usage? May try a submersible to replace a non-submersible in my new space saver tank. Thanks again
Hello. I hope you may know the answer to this but I seem to not know where to find this information at. Here I go lol I started a side gig here in town with my own power washing business. I purchased a 225 Gallon power washer that shoots 4 GPM. I wanted to know if you knew what the ratio solution to water would be? I thought it would tell me when I bought it but guess not :( Thanks for your time!
if youve a sub pump working all the time what happerns to the presure of the water if your not using the washer ?? does it only turn on when the washer is turned on ???
Question so the cord you connect to the water pump isn’t it bad that water is touching that cord inside the tank ? Like can’t there be electrical issues ? Sorry I’m new to this stuff want to start my own business also
@@serranosmobile are you still using same set up or is everything different now…I’m here in Tyler Texas about to start a mobile detailing myself and went out and bought the pump at Home Depot that u use…I have a green works 2200 psi pressure washer with 2.3 gpm u think the pump will push enough for that and u think a 2500-3500 watt generator will work as well…sorry just want to make sure thangs work
Hey bro quick question since the opening of the tank is exposed what about when you are making turns and going up hills etc what about when the water leaks ??
What kind of Mytee Extractor is that. I plan on getting a 10 gallon Mytee HP120 Grand Prix and going to use it for cleaning cars interior and shampooing carpets in bedrooms and living rooms.... Is the Mytee HP120 Grand Prix good to complete the job?
@@serranosmobile thanks for the fast response. So basically with the 5ft hose in your bio and the submersible pump I’ll have what I need to connect to my pressure washer? Thanks again!
@@miketampabay9446 that’s what I bought and not enough psi. Same one. But I’m coming out of the top. Bought a well pump the other day. It blows like a fire hydrant… had to install a bypass.
@@serranosmobile thanks for quick response...is there a video that shows exactly how to connect the tank to the pressure washer..and do u know a cheap place to.get 55gal tanks..I assume if I use a pump I don't need a 100gal tank like Google suggested
Oh man that submersible water pump is going to save a few hundred bucks. I thought I would need a couple hundred dollar water pump. I didn't know they made these submersible. So the pressure of the water is good with that GPM? I'm looking to start my mobile detailing business as soon as I can. What gallon tank do you use?
@@serranosmobile does that size usually last you all day? I know wheel wells with fabric instead of plastic get especially dirty and might need extra water.
@@serranosmobile nice! I was thinking about trying a water pressure booster pump. Automatic on automatic off., never have to even think about it. I tried posting a link, but it won’t let me.
Wow! So the pump just stays running the whole time it's submerged in the tank? Even though it can't actually pump water anywhere? I've thought about this many times when I've used a submersible, but figured I'd burn out the pump and never had the balls to try.
I put the pump on top, amd with a sharpie made two ines where the pump comes to and end the 2 ridges, then cut that out with a thin saw, then slide the pump in and closed it
I need help.. I tried your set up and it's not working.. I have a dewalt 3600psi with 2.5 GPM but I'm not getting pressure out my pressure washer I'm guessing the pump I just bought is only putting 1800GMPH which is 30GPM probably not enough pressure
i currently have the seaflo 33 series but it’s been leaking on me and i’ve had a hose burst because of high psi on that water pump and it’s only 3.3 gpm im using a ryobi 1.2 gpm 2,000 psi
i’m leaning towards the drummond 1/6 hp 1,600gph but im not sure if the pump will stop when i’m not pressing the trigger on the pressure gun, just trying to avoid any hose bursts and leaks from the pump
most of the submersible water pumps have a max temperature of 120 degrees will it be fine in an enclosed vehicle ? sorry with the questions been having problems w multiple pumps for awhile now lol
Thank you we’ve been doing gravity fed and constantly wondering why the water won’t come out 🤣this will definitely solve that problem thank you. Omw to the hardware store right now lmao
