Because they want IU to be known for her Artistry and not as someone's ideal type only. I got to know Jungkook through iu and am only Uaena. At first i really liked kooku videos until i started reading comments, there were many hate towards her because of that, making her down, saying very rude and even death threats, also other ship fans were there such as lizkook were way out of hand to disrespect iu too. I really hated it when iu was such disrespected, she didn't and still doesn't deserve it just because she was little less known than bts or blackpink that time. But now iu is being more popular, known and respected for her work as them and less people dare to hate or write malicious comments and at least most stay neutral than hating her and the comment section aren't as negative as before and jungkook still support and respect her till now make me ship her with him. Uaenas are very open and supportive of whomever iu date but can't tolerate the disrespect and humility that comes from ships especially kooku from both its fans and haters thus most uaena hate kooku but if it comes true they will 100% support it and will be on 100% defense position against haters. We are a very chill and calm fandom but when it comes to iu we are super hyper and over protective of her. I don't know much why army hate this ship. From a Uaena point of view i said it.
