@@ammo777 Ever heard how much they like NFT's? Not only is there Mee6 NFT's, they want to AND I QUOTE "tokenize every community". Ditch Mee6's face now
I have been working on a server for the past year, and reached about 4.1k members in the server. The big issue is that members don't seem to engage in the server very much, even when giveaways and events are done occasionally to encourage activity. In fact, the server passed minimum requirements to become a Discord Partner. As mentioned previously though, activity was very scarce and I was notified that my server's activity should exceed those minimum requirements to be fully considered as a partner. I was looking forward to tips like these that could help get some of the population into the loop. This video truly helped in showing a great start for activity improvement so I recommend people give these tips a try!
@@Silly_Willy_ That happened to me too, I took advantage of partnerships with slightly larger servers, and slowly amassed more and more servers, even though I'm still a small server, partnerships are a great way to jumpstart your server for sure.
These methods could be really helpful! However, the only bad thing is when it comes to me hosting events, my prizes are lame since i can't do events with Discord Nitro as a prize because i am really, like really poor to even buy one. Normally when i was doing events, the prizes were just custom roles or get a upload on my channel. But, i can atleast try some of the methods and see how well it would go. Really appreciate you making this video! :)
Gabi Santos trick is to hype it up well before and make sure you deliver which motivates the server to do it again. Hype is a powerful tool. Don’t under deliver or else people will be down turned for the next one.
I have been working on my server for 4 months have 60 members little activity tho man making an active server is hard af but on the grind wish me luck guys
Tip from a small server owner: don't use mee6 for level roles, it's a premium feature, plenty of other bots can do the exact same for free. Quite frankly, don't use mee6 for anything, way too much stuff, including really basic stuff, is behind the premium paywall
@@raquelcolpani5956 there’s a bot called invite tracker and you can also track messages BUT I don’t know if you can track messages for a whole role so I’m not sure
So, when you search for a user in your server using the search bar, look up a user that entered the challenge, then click the option,”After” and choose the date that the challenge started. It should tell you on the bottom of how many messages were sent. Sadly, that’s the only way I know of so far.
Hey congrats on 7k!!!! Your channel has really been growing rapidly recently and it still amazes me!!! Hopefully these tips can help me out when I am opening my discord server up
Yoooooo Custom it has been 1 year since I watched this video and applying it I made my discord server get over 900 members in 3 months. Much appreciation to you my man!
I have discord development it is basically discord with a bit more bugs and gets a few more updates than the normal one. Also it uses up less RAM when you download it.
Even though I tried using these tips, all of my server members are always offline. I tried doing a kahoot event AND a chat revive but not a single one of them cared except for one random member. My server only has 8 members that arent bots and when a member joins they end up being very inactive and offline.
I have a dead server with around 300 ppl, i have tried everything, giveaways, events, movie nights, game nights but no one seems to care. What do i do?
Unfortunately in my server.... People never even check pings. I do so many events and giveaways but they only react to giveaways but never chat...They just don't give a shit about the server.
You said that one idea is to get involved as an admin. And honestly one thing I try to do is back away. I feel like when I get involved, that’s when people go quiet LOL. You know like when the teacher walks in the room you just stop chatting I don’t know
Thank you for the tip, I will try them out on my server. And I got some inspiration myself by looking to your video. Thank you for making this awesome video.
most of my server members/friends are just long gone not even chatting in the server anymore. If i ping them like making an announcement or sum im likely to get "stop pinging me f###" but now it rarely happens cuz they're just *long gone*
How do I get participation on my events? Like.. My server is small, Idk if the members would like to win a custom role etc etc in a small server. And I don't ever have money to buy my own nitro, I can't provide this as reward :,)
