This is a great technique. I've been focusing on my personal development a lot and when my ex senses I am a lot happier. Went round to hers last night and had a great time, mirroring her body language etc. When I got home she messaged me to say it was nice seeing me again and that she wonders if I'd like to go round again when she doesn't have the kids. Steady progress.
How long it took? My girl just watches my snapchat story where I send some of my achivements..etc. She said it before “like you and your personality” but I dunno why she just watches me from away!
True said. Mistakes especially we guys do is do, ignoring when ex texting or call later on during silence. In fact, they move on faster. But, if we answers them in short and on point, we make them harder to move on and greater chance for us to get them back!!!

Guys, I've been using the mirror technique lately and though things are moving slow, I feel that it's helpful and they are slowly coming around again. They showed up yesterday, they were more comfortable and we had a good time just talking about goals, ect. Of course I wanted to speed things up but I kept it cool. Keep it cool, calm, collected or watch those barriers come up again. Love this advice! I think ive been implementing it for 2 months now. Still no contact. But that's okay, all in due time there's still a lot im working on with my personal development. I'm learning to master the art of time management, managing my time with friends and family, being in class and completing course work, exercising and working out, and trying to add time to volunteer more and be on social media less. I listen to these while I get ready for the day, workout, make food. Just continually trying to feed my brain knowledge.
Thank you for this video, I put this into practice for a week with my ex and to my surprise, we actually started reconnecting and actually laughing again, what i am discovering quickly in this process is that its really not all about getting back together off the bat, its more so about genuinely reconnecting. i've been following Adrians videos and took a step back, implemented the technique and my ex actually asked me out on a date. Even if you don’t want to get back together with your ex, continue to watch these videos everyday so you don’t go back to square 1. You will embarrass yourself from the begging, (like I did) and put your value way down. You want someone who wants to be in your life. If your ex doesn’t want you in your life right now, then focus on yourself. Maybe someday they will. If they didn’t treat you like Shit; well all you can do is respect they don’t want you right now. Maybe in the future. But maybe in the future you’ll realize your worth.
I didn’t understand this video at all. I feel that by following this, I’d be giving him power. My ex is EXTREMELY disciplined, especially in emotions. It’s been so difficult. I'm a giver. Adrian - Love this technique and the knowledge you share in this video. I was in a three-year relationship with someone that ended in March. We lived together, raised my younger brothers for several months and in November bought a car in the same name. Pretty deeply intertwined. We stopped all contact for about two months but eventually began hanging out every weekend that he was back in town from working in another city. Old feelings came back for the both of us after we became intimate again (big mistake). We had a conversation about getting back together and his biggest reservation is about how much we fought when we were together. I understand he is so turned off by the idea of us because of that issue. We made the decision to distance ourselves by seeing each other a lot less, if at all. He has also never been single for longer than a few months (religion was his life as a child but he began disagreeing with their beliefs around age 18 - had a 6 mo relationship before ours). I feel like if we are going to hang out or work at getting back together in the future, he needs to let go of that grudge and forgive me. What is that going to take? I am at peace with how and why things ended after seeing a counselor and realizing both of our faults. I don't believe he has looked at his part just yet. I think time would heal this for us because I believe we are meant to be. I am just not sure if I should agree to hanging out next time he asks or cut off all contact and let time pass us by until he wakes up.

Awesome! When do I use this mirror technique - before or after giving him the Goodbye Letter? So, currently I am 1 week into the No Contact phase, and I was planning to give him my goodbye letter in 3-5 weeks, when I pick up my last stuff at his place, ... until then should I mirror him? Or afterwards or should I not give the letter before he feels comfortable again??? I will probably be the first one to initiate contact though, because his birthday aligns exactly with the 4 weeks after break up, and I want to congratulate him via text... Anyways I feel like I want to give him the letter but I don't know if that's counterintuitive because I give him this "negative" feelings back reminding him of our break-up with the letter... or is that like necessary for him to read to even be able to open up and initiate the next phase? I was in a short relationship with someone for 2 1/2 three months. Everything was going very well when suddenly he pulled the rug out from underneath me and stated he was not ready for relationship. You have to let them go for a while. Long enough for them to forget all the crazy shit. Once they do. Then if its meant to be and they sre single. You can re approach them in a correct way

Hello Adrian! Could you please make a few more videos related to this "mirror tehnique"? I broke up with my ex like..4 months ago and than I thought that can be only his friend. But, I can't. I still love him. I tried the "no contact perioud" but it seems like I can't resist not reaching out to him for more than a week . He does the same thing also. But , still..I have a fear that he's just contacting me because he's bored. When he asked me "how are you?" i told him that i'm very good and I started some new activities and so on, but when I asked him the same question he said that he feels bored generally and he keeps waiting for something to happen. What is that suppose to mean? Am I just his form of entartainment and I should stop reaching out, or he's just confused and we does not know what he should do next? same situation I'm facing here and I have the issue of 1. I don't know many of his friends, but even I do, he is not those people who would share any of his feelings and thought especially on relationship with anybody including his family - so there is a slim chance of me knowing what's going on in his mind, and also I don't wanna make him feel like I am letting his friends know about his private life and made him feel like I am alienating his friends from him; 2. I mirrored his actions when he texted me about his current situations (3 time he contacted me first after we last met up a month after the break up), but then it died down quickly, and I worry is it that he finds me boring, or that is it cause he had been the one who initiated (though in the first month of breaking up, we both initiated some texts, about a short text conversation per week) and he felt like I'm not even trying, despite saying I wanna get back together during the meeting; 3. I try not to rush things, yet it is very disturbing when he can move on quickly if his logical mind tells him staying is not wise (he is terribly logical and practical person), and I fear that he will move on if I don't chase him back; but the downside of chasing him back is i might scare him away or he might not be interested thereon. Though I must add a caveat, that he is not in contact with any of his ex before me, as it is his belief that it is unnecessary, but I made his promise me that we will still keep in touch, so it might change my situation for good or for bad??? I made such suggestion because I still wanna get back together, and also I can't bare to lose him as a friend at all. Also from the meeting, though he wouldn't say it, but I understand that his main reasons for breaking up is that 1. he worries that he can't provide me with a good future; 2. his ego was hurt after moving houses, that he felt his situation is not as compatible as my situation; 3. he is experiencing some hiccups at work and felt like his ego was further scarred. It’s been 10 days since he broke up with me I haven’t contacted him since then he blocked me from all social media but the phone number. Two days after it he unblocked me on Facebook he didn’t talk to me but he posted something around midnight about losing someone and if they’re meant to u they will be back . So this is not the first time we end things but I honestly feel so lost especially bc he accused me of cheating and ofc I never did anything. Our relationship was so strong and filled with joy and happiness that no one would risk losing it . It lasted 9 months . So I think if he won’t reach out by this week I will have to because I’m done waiting and sitting here without knowing what’s going on . So I think I will call him and plan to meet up and talk to him about everything so at least I know if I should move on or not .
