Hi. My name is Dayo and I'm from Nigeria. How can I apply as a foreigner? What are the things needed for me to acquire this license? And also are there scholarships that I can apply for to help facilitate this?
Thanks Eisha for the video. It made a lot of things clear! I have a question: Can you take these courses from other countries like in Asia? And can I get a visa to UK to study the course?
Hey! Thanks for watching. Since I filmed this, a lot has changed at the FA as I'm sure you're aware - the course is fully online now! Therefore, I believe you can take it from anywhere in the world.
Hi Eisha, can you help me with some advice? to start level 1 coaching, I need an FA number, but it doesn't allow me to register, when I click on "don't have an account" it doesn't work ... do you have any idea how I could create an FA number?
I don't believe there is an expiry date for the qualification itself but the supporting modules need renewing every three years (e.g. CRC, first aid and safeguarding course)
Thanks for watching. When booking you’re able to search courses based on location so just enter your postcode then 👍🏽 that being said, I believe this level 1 course is fully online now 🧐 since the pandemic so I guess location won’t matter 🙌🏽
Hello Eisha, My name is Zaid and I am 18. My dream is to become a professional football manager that coach high level squads/clubs. And I am not in it for the money or the fame, I dont even look at it like "to stay in the football world", its just simply my dream, I think I am built for this. Unfortunately, atm I am not living in the UK, I am a university student in Turkey, but the plan is to go to the UK to start my coaching career after I finish my university studies. no idea why I mentioned all of that but anyways.. I have a lot of questions of this road, where to start? what to expect from these FA courses and where do they lead me exactly? how much will this road cost? the courses arent cheap themselves, but like does a coach with a UEFA C or UEFA B license earn enough money to develop and gain more badges? or do they usually have a full-time job(other than coaching) to help with the expenses? the info in their website is kinda vague to me, it doesnt answer all of my questions.. so if you can help me with answering these questions that would be super helpful. thanks for reading :)
*although, I should add that the level 1 course now no longer includes the mandatory modules of 'Safeguarding Children' and 'Introduction to First Aid in Football'. You're required to complete these before enrolling in the online course. Unsure how these can be done from abroad.
Hey Rob! I guess now that the course is solely online it's different from when I enrolled but just had a search through my old emails for any post-booking correspondence and I'll paste you below the message I received in case it's of any use (seems like you'll get sent the pre-course stuff two weeks before course start date)
Hi Eisha, Thank you for your booking. This is the only confirmation you will receive from Hertfordshire FA. Hertfordshire FA will distribute the pre-course information via email two weeks before the course start date. Having successfully booked onto the course, you will receive an automatic calendar invite via email for each face-to-face session (resulting in multiple emails in your inbox) You can also access your course dates by visiting the 'my bookings' tab which is located under 'active learning'. learning.thefa.com You are required to attend all dates and times associated to the course. Failure to do so will result in non qualification. Please be reminded of our cancellation policy within our Terms and Conditions www.hertfordshirefa.com/coaches/coaching-support/policies-and-procedures To re-schedule or cancel your booking please contact Hertfordshire FA; contactus@hertfordshirefa.com

Hey Prateek! Sorry - I'm not sure I can advise you on this. I'm not entirely sure how you can apply from abroad. I know a lot of new coaches check job listings on the London FA website. They regularly post coaching roles at London based clubs - perhaps after finishing the course you could reach out to the clubs who are advertising vacancies? Again, I don't know how it would work as you're not UK-based but I'll paste the link to the London FA below anyways incase you find it useful: www.londonfa.com/coaches/coaching-opportunities
@@EishaActonRU-vid thank you very much .they were of great help . Planning to visit UK soonest and try to look for jobs because I believe offline approach will be more effective than online approach
Hey Leo 👋🏽 1. since I got the qualification it’s moved online. No need to attend sessions in person so I’d imagine applicants outside the UK can apply. The FA says this: “To pass Introduction to Coaching Football, you will need to work through e-learning modules, unlocking new ones each week, as well as completing a short online assessment. The e-learning can be completed in stages in your own time, and you will be given 12-months from your start date to complete the course.” Link: thebootroom.thefa.com/learning/qualifications/introduction-to-coaching-football#available-dates 2. I’ve searched up info on how to get your UEFA B licence and these are the requirements (you pretty much need to have competed FA coaching football level 1 and level 2) “To take part in the UEFA B Licence course, you must: Complete The FA Level 2 in Coaching Football course / 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football / UEFA C Licence Complete The FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football / The FA Emergency Aid in Football Complete The FA Safeguarding Children Course Be actively coaching a team in a season-long competition in England Be able to effectively communicate in English (this includes listening, speaking, reading and writing)” Link: thebootroom.thefa.com/learning/qualifications/uefa-b-licence
I have heared that the FA level 1 course is an online Course now.i am from india and how i can complete it?i mean what we will do for the practical exams and all?its completely done through online ? Please advice
It's an online course - so I'm sure you can do it from Turkey itself. As for working in the UK after you've attained the qualification - I'm unsure, sorry. I guess you'd need a company sponsor or something.
