File LLC first then EIN! Please…it will save you a big hassle. Wait until LLC approved..then get EIN(shouldn’t do same day) If in any event LLC isn’t approved, you would have to get another EIN..that’s just one issue you could run into and either way will delay your business in some way.
Sis, thank you for creating and publishing this content frfr. SO many people say they "have a LLC"...and my response is, "but do you have it completely buttoned up...as in registered with the State? No." They just out here with an IRS EIN letter, 🙄. After watching your content today, I successfully registered with my State! And within 48 business hours (or a week), I can go to the credit union and apply for business credit! Thank you immensely for putting us all ON. You are flawless and you made this look easy! I heard that if you get your ein number first before your llc is approved you have to wait a few months to get another ein number for that llc So it’s best get llc or s corp first get approved then ein
After I filed and paid the State fee in Michigan it said Michigan had other questions and one of the questions was, "who will run your business" and I am the only owner. But they gave me four options to choose from which were: 1. All the owners 2. Only some of the owners 3. Both 1&2 and other managers 4. None of the owners, only other managers And I have to put something in order to move to the next question.

thats amazing! I hope they are successful. keep in mind its sometimes better to create two separate LLCs in case a third party attempts to sue you it wouldnt effect with your other businesses. just something to consider, please do not take no offense from my comment, if you know this info already then thats great but not everyone is aware. Thank you for such valuable info! I have a question regarding address for a business. If we have employees who don’t enter my home only conduct business at clients homes, but I conduct business from my home (calls,management,etc) does that make my home a valid address for an LLC?

Hey Mike! In this case, you will register for LLC first in order to receive an EIN. Once registered, you will be contacted by an LLC agent and they will help you through the process and any questions you may have. Therefore at the end, you’re just signing up for LLC just to register your business & making sure you do not run into any illegal issues.
Hi Akkera, I have a trucking LLC that I opened a couple of years ago but I didn't operate the business. Now I want to get into real estate investing and I'm required to open another LLC. Can I use the previous LLC or do I have to open another one? Your advice will be greatly appreciated.
Always best to not put your LLC “in a box” if possible to avoid this…likely you would have had to anyway since those are two very different businesses.
I work for uber eats and i want to do this to get bussines credit. Also my sole propietor taxes were 1200 2022 earned 9000 But with llc my taxes will be higher?? or same as sole propietor. Do i need to pay extra fees each year to maintain the llc status?
