This is a brief overview of how to get your motorcycle license or motorcycle endorsement in the state of Arkansas. Video focuses on the MSF Basic Riders Course option rather than the state skills test, although a brief outline of the steps for the state skills test is offered at the end of the video.

Thanks dude- there's not a lot of info on getting the endorsement. I'm gonna have to eat the $375, which sucks and means I'm going to have to put it off while I get some gear, but as a newbie I gotta start somewhere and I'm a lil uncomfortable trying to do the skills test without any practice and trailering the bike I want to get down that way.

@@ajburns12 I am, but I went ahead and got my own. Did the sales seminar last night, excited to get to the practical stuff. Would the exercises/assessments be tough if it's my first time on a bike?

@@kekarddain4245 to be honest this is a hard one to answer as everyone is a little different. But the short answer is yes, however that is the point of the class and they let you practice everything until you get it down. This class will help you identify your weak spots and help you focus on what you need to practice in the long term. With that being said, it shouldn’t scare you. Your instructors will give you tips to get the exercises down before the assessment. As long as you’re willing to listen and learn you will have no problem with the assessment. However, the assessment is by no means easy, but it is absolutely doable as a first time rider.

Is the state police headquarters in Little Rock the only place you can take your MSF card to? Or can you take it to the town where you live? I passed my written test in my hometown, not at state police headquarters.

@@zacharythompson9637 hey sorry for taking so long to respond. The state police headquarters in Little Rock is not the only place you can take your MSF card. You can take your MSF card to any Arkansas State Police Troop HQ and they can scan it into the system for you. However, the state police has to be the one to scan it in as this is not something that can be done at the revenue office.

is there a test on day 1 in the classroom portion

There is no written test in the classroom portion of the MSF course. There is a 5ish hour online training they require you to complete prior to the actual class date that has a test at the end of it, but it’s essentially a non-fail multiple choice test. However, as stated the classroom portion has no test.
