I find the space cadet more fun than the space station. Because space station is almost invincible when there are cadets on it. I also main this character.

I kind of feel a 'did you know' fact, and it has to do with the upgrades. When a passenger joins in a station while they have Health Regen & Delay upgrades, they are applied to the Captain's ship so that means when you have buddies, the captain can have powerful upgrades while a buddy has the two upgrades to do a quick repair on the station. I found that out with my friend and we were unstoppable (also Afterburner & Assimilation is disgusting but another passenger can't stack the upgrades with one already having it)

Another tip for passenger cadets. The torpedo has an option to fire/release by pressing said button. This makes the torpedo move tremendously faster, and gives the torpedo homing if you point your crosshair on a plant. Though it only seems to home if it has more fuel. I cant get the torpedo to home if ive been controlling it for too long.

I am a space cadet main and this is a good guide and covers a lot of ground, There are actually a few more tips that can be very useful. When the space cadet turns into the space station she immediately start to regenerate health.( Same for acorn and oak) However unlike the oak, there is no cool down between transformations. There for if your low health in the space station you can quickly untransformed and retransform to regenerate health. This transformation can also get rid of Gordy goop. torpedo should be used at close and mid range most of the time and aim your crosshair over the plant before using torpedo. Like it is said in the video using coordination with communication is the best way to use space station with other people. Only use space stations with other people with no communication when you have a have a good healer on your team. Otherwise sperate your space stations. Better to have 4 crater makers6 then a crew that cant cooperate.

You can mash the attack button as a space station to get the equivalent of a full auto lazer

Probably the rarest character you'll find in game as well. It's surprising how many players don't play them in game XD. Space cadet alone is really good if you know how to use her, considering how her abilities are just free kills if you use them properly. Also, a few tips for players who play them :P If you want to go high up while on space station, double jump before using the funny laser so it propels you upwards. If you're high up using the space cadet's smash ability, the purple indicator goes away. this is a double edged sword since players can't see where you land, yet you also can't. As soon as you go on a space station, use asteroid shield on the spot since there's no point is waiting for the opportunity if the shield stays up until broken. This video makes me wish BFN wasn't so overlooked by the franchise :c

Space Cadets Primary weapon also has a thing for dealing 7 damage to opponents fired at every now and then. I don’t know if it’s a visual bug or a form of lingering damage. Interestingly the 7 damage numbers only seem to appear when firing from the hip.

This video is very informational, I'll admit you even taught me a little bit. Amazing job, good guide for players who don't know how to abuse how overpowered space cadet is. Also good setup: regen delay, adrenaline rush, and afterburners.

Fun fact: transforming into a space station will get rid of Grody goop’s effect. Combined with the fact that you can also transform into space station to prevent yourself from getting burrowed, and the fact that chomper has a massive head (very good with feedback loop upgrade), it makes her amazing at killing chompers. Probably even better than engineer.

Finally, my favorite character is covered, now I can actually find other people playing as her in my matches! Poking fun at how underrated space cadet is in multiplayer aside, it was really great watching this video even though I kinda know how to play space cadet like the back of my hand, but it was still worth it as I learned some new things One thing you didn’t mention is how independent of her transformation she actually is in comparison to the -oak- acorn, because it seems like the turn tables with the two classes, space cadet feels like she can pull her own weight even when she isn’t in her op as fuck space station but the space station needs other space cadets to be op instead of a brittle glass cannon and vice versa for oak and acorn It’s interesting how popcap handled the two classes as they are the same concept but executed differently. But this has lead to one being equally feared as he is spammed while the other one was left in the dust by the community despite being equally as powerful in the right hands, maybe it has something to do with how easy one is to play and dominate with compared to the other, idk. (P.s. the gun is very disjointed from her hitbox in comparison to other classes, this can be a blessing and a curse as it essentially allows you to fire from the right side of a wall and expose very little to none of your hitbox but it essentially makes you have to expose the entirety of your hitbox when having to shoot from behind a wall to its left, do with that information as you wish)

solo space station backliner is pretty fuckin funny, i deal loads of damage, enemy attempts to gank me, i chew thru their health and tank any and all incoming chip damage because I have so much hp that I don't even need to care, and if they send a group just so they can obliterate me i kamikaze with my crater and murder (probably) every single one of em fuckers, he's so fun to play, AND my double jump makes me near impossible to hit whilst i enjoy aerial superiority and easily shoot above their cover, bro is that good

I don't know why Popcap gave Space Cadet not only the homing delay but it is the same one that the homing pea got. thanks to Space Cadet having homing delay ever since then I barely play her and would go for Foot Soldier instead. Space Cadets homing was meant for hard hitting enemies (extreem dodging Night Caps and Acorns) and giving it a delay pretty much ruined it. TL;DR: homing delay for Space Cadet was a mistake (in my opinion).

Woohoo we love notes As a passenger use the regen upgrades and politely force your station not to use them Do not treat the missile as a missile, treat it as a zpg by releasing it immediately (it goes zoomy and is effectively hitscan when you do this) also if you see a nightcap literally you can pop them like a balloon by doing this and there’s nothing they can do about it As a station: don’t use the regen upgrades, the reason I said regen upgrades for the passenger is because having a passenger with the regen upgrades on also applies them to you as well so there’s no need to use 4 slots for them, rather use those four slots for adrenaline rush And then finally for nacadet: don’t, nacadet isn’t a character just use station lmao But if you must use nacadet do not use space slam like ever, don’t.
