Happy Tails silly little hedgies 💕 but we all know you are amazing with your animals, it's just funny to see their reactions go from disgruntled to zen 😊
Yeah, just as long as there toys and things like that aren’t loud. Loud toys and enrichment would be a regular wheel (make sure you get a silent wheel if that bothers you!), cat toys with bells, etc.!
its so good that they get that care, because if they were at the pet store the would be so dirty. and you also care very good for all of your pets- keep it up
I just gave my hedgie a bath today :D this was his first 'proper' bath (before I had just let him run around in some water), and he was excellent! He didn't hiss even once lol. But he can have very dry and red skin, so I'm going to look into getting that baby powder bath or something similar :)
Rosie hates the bath but the last one my daughter held her on her back in the water and she was nice a calm for the 1st time and was making a chirping noise was so cute
Great video as always! I do have a question about the poopy feet though. My hedge hog has poop coated on his feet every day and I was wondering if there is any way to prevent that? I also am wondering if you have any tips on clipping their nails because it can be a real struggle with him.
Its hard to prevent it. They are dirty little animals lol. But keeping the wheel clean will help because that is often where they pick it up. Does yours use a litter box? that can help too. Don't bath them everyday just pick it off their feet.
I've found having item's in my Mr. Bean's cage helpful. I have an area set up of baby burp cloths for him ( for me i feel the burp cloths are safer than say a towel. ) They are thin and don't catch on his nails , he enjoys borrowing in them ( I hide treats in them ) when he moves around then it removes some of the stuff off his feet. I've figured out that when he has a big assortment of hedgehog safe toys he moves around more and in doing so a lot of the yuck on his legs works it way off. We have upgraded his home 3xs. The bigger the home the more they move around also the more toys u can give them. I've learned that having a very big cage for a hedgehog is the best. Not only they have more room allowing them to walk around ( causing some of that yuck to come off ) it also gives them an enriched life. You can never go too big when it comes to their homes.
Love your videos! I'm a dog groomer and nutritionist so from one nutritionist to another here Is some advice. Stay away from Milk Bones for your dogs. They add a dangerous chemical called BHA in there treats not to mention the wheat and corn. I love your channel and not criticizing, just care about your pups. I know you feed raw so maybe give them raw meaty bones as treats. Dogs take to chicken necks very well, obviously not cooked. Keep up the good work, much respect on how much work you put into your kids! Oh and ps try to do wet food for your cats, I make a homemade wet diet for my 2 cats and they love it. A lot of problems can arise with a cat on kibble, Im sure you'll look more into it. If you want the recipe I will give it to you.
