Very helpful Austin, I wrote my "Ice Breaker" last week and I used the timeline method you recommended as an alternate. This video affirmed several elements of the process for me. 😀
This was great information, Austin. My Icebreaker speech is only 4 days away 😮. I will definitely rewatch this & take your amazing advice. Thanks so much.
Get that actor a neck brace! This was awesome Austin!! As a new member to Toastmasters, I've been through every one of those emotions you discussed. Your energy is everything. Loved the TedTalk, lmao. Keep doing what you're doing brother...I learned a lot in those 11 min.; this gave us fresh meat hope!! 🤓🥰👏
Helpful information. Many thanks. The background music was very loud - if it was turned down a little it would come presentation would come out more clearly.
Yes I've been told this. That is the journey of learning RU-vid. You get to make mistakes and have the whole world see it. But that's okay. That is how you learn :)
One of the first things i learned about toastmasters is that not only do you present speeches you also have to write them. This was off putting as i have never been good at writing with the exception of technical writing (Manuals, Instructions, etc...).
Great content. Please when doing videos where there is a lot of dialogue drop the music mix so that it doesn't compete with the information that is being given!!!
Thanks for the powerful tools presented here. So much wisdom on how to understand our lives in such a clean and systematic process. Best of luck in all the things you do in life my brother.
Thanks so much that was really helpful!! I am about to go to my very first meeting. Your exercises will def be very helpful in formulating my story and icebreaker speech. Thanks again 😊
@@MoveInSilence23 Congratulations! I hope you got some good feedback. My club records the talks and uploads them to a private RU-vid, so we can go and watch ourselves. Did you by chance get to do that?
