This is our 2nd year homeschooling and I still have so much questions. We are still trying to figure it out. But I stumbled on your video and I am so happy. New subscriber here!
Welcome, Mai Lor! Don’t worry, you’ll continue to figure it out throughout your entire homeschool journey- just like parenthood! 😊 So glad you’re here.
Homeschool question here 🖐️ not necessarily related to this topic😊... We typically finish our homeschool lessons by lunch but after lunch I feel like I'm trying to figure out how to keep my kids occupied for the rest of the day and it's draining. My two oldest that I'm homeschooling are going into kindergarten and second grade. What do you do with your kids or have them do when they have finished up school work for the day? I think this was one of my biggest challenges last year. Obviously, non of us moms want to resort to technology/TV to keep them occupied. I need some pointers here.
Hi Mallory! Here are some pointers: Take them somewhere- the park, on a walk, a friend’s house, the library, a farm, anywhere! Stay home and do crafts, play board games, read books aloud to them, play in your backyard, let them ride bikes, let them play pretend together without you, let them watch tv or play technology. There is absolutely nothing wrong with letting them watch tv or play video games in moderation. Also, don’t feel pressured to keep them occupied with something all day long. They will find things to do on their own. Thanks for your question!
I have a question, I was homeschooled and "graduated" in 2002. My mother didn't keep track of my transcripts she had a lady from the umbrella she had us under take care of that for her. Welp the lady died, apparently she never submitted my transcripts to the state, we had the physical copies until the basement flooded and everything was ruined. now fast forward to now, I am trying to enroll in college and have no transcripts to submit, what can I do?
