Some cobras naturally eat other snakes. For example, the Malaysian King Cobra's primary food source is other snakes and monitor lizards. Candy Cane was bred as a feeder and bought by her friend who works with cobras. He asked if she wanted to keep one and she picked Candy Cane. She has a video about it if you want to look it up.

What if I just leave a container large enough for my snake to soak in her housing tank? That's what I do..... And she soaks pretty often

A breeder gives the hard to care for babies (aka the picky eaters) to a zoo for them to be Cobra food. Not exactly wrong persee as the cobras have to eat after all. Anyone someone who works there told her that they just got a new batch and if she wants him to get one of them, she said yes instantly and took her home. She was a bit hard to feed at first but she quickly bounced up and is now one of their beloved family members

Pull the skin up a little and if it contracts perfectly its fine but if it is wrinkly and is non contractable than its a problematic issue i recommend taking him or her to a veterinarian or just force hydrate or even give a bath or provide healthy supplements such as dissolvable pill or just give him or her a shot.
