Thank you, Sr. Bethany, for this encouraging message. Your point regarding the necessity of valuing ourselves being pivotal to our generosity is something that needs to reiterated time and time again. Many times selfishness is not always the result of a callous disregard for others, so much as it is a fear that we are not blessed with any gifts to give. If we are assured that, being children of God, we are endowed by Lord with gifts, we would give more freely of ourselves. Such doubts plague my own existence, and dissuade me from truly taking advantages of opportunities for me to be service to others. Whenever I feel this way, I will need to remind myself to listen to this fortifying message. I appreciate you, Sr. Bethany, for being such a gift to us all.
I’m watching this at 2 a.m because I was struggling and couldn’t sleep thinking about many bad things about myself. I clicked on the first video of sr. Bethany Madonna. Right there I started crying a lot and felt amazing peace, specially at the last prayer. I’m so thankful for all the work done by the Sisters of Life, as I’m new to the catholic faith and haven’t told anyone near me yet
