Im scared to get sew in. I dont like tight hairstyles. Thats my only fear is the pulling and tightness between the braid down and then the sew in itself

I do my own sew-ins and I love them. I can’t withstand any amount of tension on my hair so, When done correctly sew-ins are very low tension!

Oh but what about the front corners of the closure, is that gonna be seen when she styles it or in her way when tries to come it, the way you knotted both sides in the front?

Trick is to cut them off at a slight angle before sewing the closure. Maybe 1/2 an inch or less because you still need that band to make the closure last. Just cut the corners before sewing

I cut the corners a tad bit and style the hair forward so it doesn’t necessarily show. This client prefers a middle part only. Be sure to subscribe for more content! 💕

What product do you use for the braid down? I tried braiding gel but it gets too sticky and my daughters hair gets tangled up. Then I tried a conditioning pudding which made it soft, but reactivates the curls, causing tangles when I'm braiding. I think I'm doing something weird with my fingers when I braid, but just wonder if there's a product that keeps the hairs together without being sticky. Does adding in hair around the edge of the face make it stronger for the sew in?

I would try the different level of shine and jams and see which one works best for you. A happy medium between a firm but loose feel would be the dark orange one or the light orange one. Yes the braiding hair around the edges beefs up the braid for more security and sturdiness. Thank you for your questions 💕

I believe my content is very useful. To make sure the whole style is shown…… the video must be sped up. RU-vid has a feature that can be used to slow down the video to your liking. You should try it out!
