I want to call out something that I have no clue if was a mistake or not but at 5:19 you explain that super jumping and then a dive jump its the fastest way to do L1. But however if you just press up arrow instead of dive jumping at the right time and then diving right before you hit the flag so your hitbox reaches it faster, you can get much better times. I have no clue if this was a mistake or not but just calling it out
yes on the latest version you can do that. However on the older versions you cannot momentum jump (the trick you are referring to instead of a dive jump in this case) directly after a super jump. So on the earlier versions it’s a super jump and then dive jump. Also, there is actually a slightly faster way to do level 1 on the older versions that I didn’t talk about because it is only ~0.03 seconds faster than a mere super jump and dive jump. You do a hsjc, perfect dive jump, momentum jump, then dive to grab the flag. However this strat is super hard for 0.03 of time save, so for any% everyone just does the super jump and dive jump (that’s why I said that was the fastest way). So I guess I wasn’t very clear on that. But anyways yeah on the latest version, you super jump then momentum jump so you can dive at the end to grab the flag ~0.01-0.03 or something like that faster.
@@Toadi_ Thank you I appreciate it. One more question, I've been playing level 1 at school and I have been trying to get wr (1.85) But I have 1.87 and I have no clue why I havent gotten it after a month. Is there like a certain way I have to do the strat or is it pretty much luck?
@@chaselux9387 Try buffering the jump input for the super jump. In other words, press up arrow a lil before hitting the ground so the jump input comes out on the first possible frame of touching the ground. Doing the super jump buffered is called a hyper super jump, and it makes it such that you only have a 1 frame window to click the down input.
