Hi guys! As stated in the video I am not a licensed hairdresser, any advice given below is just what I would personally do given your hair history. Sidenote: my hair was bleached years ago which is why you will notice my color being brighter in certain spots, (this will correct over time) what you are left with after the color remover will always depend on your hair history. FAQ: 1. Yes, developer needs to be mixed with the dye in order to activate the hi lift 2. Hair color remover is only needed if your hair was previously dyed with a PERMANENT hair color (brown, black, etc)
ive been using this dye for YEARS. Im so happy to see someone actually use a color remover. This hair dye is meant for VIRGIN HAIR OR HAIR THAT HAS NOT BEEN DYED IN YEARS. SO many people never get the results they want , just because theyre not educated on this hair dye. Color removing is so much more less damaging , but honestly if your hair is damaged already take a break between removing the color and then applying the red. This turned out amazing girl ! you look beautiful
@@salinatovarruiz5320 your hair will still be dark. you need to color remove it first love , and when you apply the dye do it from the tips to the roots !!
I did this step by step process a year ago and it came out gorgeous. Obviously it's going to take a few times to get the perfect shade you're looking for but I'm happy to have found this video. About to go back to the sexy red 😛

First time I dyed my hair red was 13 years ago, no bleach, also from black box dye😂 the sun was just too much on my long dark hair, had to think something out. Looking back now, best decision ever, I’ll keep being a redhead for sure
Wow thank you I have been dying my hair box black for years on and off letting it grow out or yes using bleach ( which my hair does not do well with either) but I have that little voice in my head that every once and a while is screaming for some color! I’ve done the red definitely not even close to how good yours looks, I did purple last year and it came out great but after a while I couldn’t keep up with it.. I’m sapphire black right now and want to do some nice blue highlights since the box black has always been a blue black or similar .. Hi love, I’d say as long as your hair has faded out you should be fine to put a different type of red on top, I’ve done this in the past because I love changing up my red

However In The "HiColor" Red Box She Showed In The Beginning Already Comes Premade With Bleach In The Color Itself!! Which Is How She Able To Go Lighter!! IF One Does Their Research You'll Find Out That Color Does NOT Lift Color!! Especially When You Start At A 1 Going Lighter.. Also.. The Advice Given In The Number On The Developer Mix Was Wrong As Well. The Higher The Number Of Developer.. The Faster It'll Process.. If You Arw Going Light.. And You Are Not Patien To Wait With A Lower Number Developer Aka 20 Or 30.. Then One Does 40 Or Higher Which Is So Much More Harmful For The Hair.. A 20 Volume Developer Is Good If Want To Stay Dark. No Disrespect Meant Just Some Clarification Is All.. 😁 And Your Hair Does Absolute Look Flawless!! 🥰

Color oops barely did anything to my hair, and when I tried putting red on top of the brassy color it gave me. it turned dark brown almost black again. 😐 If I were to bleach it once, would that hold the red really well?
just tried to dye my hair this yesterday omg wish i saw this first because i mixed 5r 5v and 4n with 20 developer because my hair was highlighted and lighter already and i didn’t want it uneven so was told to do that for a base…now it’s just dark with a hint of magenta in the sunlight. should i redo it with this dye or use color remover first, then redye it with this

Love your hair and content I i’m actually going to do this color on my sister‘s girlfriend today I am license hairstylist but haven’t really used this product line my question is I will be using 30 volume for her mid to end but I will definitely be using 20 for her roots in that case I can start my application as a normal root touchup with the 20 and follow up with the 30 for the ends?
i have a question !! so i had a dark box dye in my hair previously but my hairdresser didn’t use color remover and just put this dye on, so the red in my hair is now barely noticeable. i got this process done 2 days ago so should i wait about a month to do it myself and use color removal first and then the dye like you did in this video again? would it still work?

My natural roots (medium brown) are grown out a few inches and blend into dyed brown hair with highlights (the dye has faded and matches my roots). Could I do this to it?

After you do this process and you are at your intended red… what do you use to maintain or fill in the roots since you don’t recommend this product if your hair is no longer dark?
