Hey guys! 2 things big things I forgot to mention is the nurse corps scholarship application cycle ended in May. So check on the website to see when it will reopen. The WIOA grant is only available if your state still has the funding. I do want to apologize for the editing I'm still working on getting better. I hope this video helps you guys on your nursing journey. Let me know what you guys think in the comment section.

Your editing has gotten so much better compared to your two previous videos. The cuts were a lot better and you didn't cut yourself off mid-sentence. The only problem I saw was your cut around 2:55, but that is still an improvement and that's what learning is. Also, around 3:52 a screen overlay would have been a helpful add on you could've added in post-production. Overall your video's are getting better and I'm very excited to watch you grow, hope my tips are helpful. - James

I’m starting nursing school this fall, August 19th, and just found out about WIOA.. wish I would’ve known about it sooner to have everything in order lol. I have an interview or whatever with them August 2nd.

Girl your telling me! I felt like I had been living under a rock lol. However I am happy you found out about the grant before your start date. I was told they will reimburse you if needed, and we have the same start date! Blessings to you. 💕

I'm in Texas, I just got approved 🙌 I go to Galen for their BSN program. (All pre reqs completed at my local community college) for some reason they won't pay for my school butter they pay my mortgage, water and electric.

heyy, im attending galen in dallas and they won’t accept WIOA. how did you get them to cover your cost of living? Also, how were you able to afford school, i’m a single mom i could use any help.

Is this just for nursing or can it be for the prerequisites to get into nursing school ?

In my area it is only nursing school and a few other degree programs. If you are looking for pre-req scholarships have you checked with your school? They normally have a lot scholarships that you can apply for. I know it’s not the same but free money lol!💕

Do you have to work in a primary care clinic , dental office , mental health hospital mandatorily? Or can you work in a hospital such as an emergency room with shortage ? (nurse corps)

That is a good question, and I am not sure. On their website, they host virtual seminars to explain the requirements. There are also ways to contact them, and they have gotten back to me fast through email/ phone calls. I hope this helps a little💕!
