To reach Umling La Pass from Leh, you can follow the below route:
Start from Leh and Continue on the Leh-Manali Highway (NH3) for approximately 32 km.
After crossing Upshi, take a left turn towards Chumathang.
Continue on this road for approximately 60 km until you reach Mahe Bridge.
After crossing Mahe Bridge, take a right turn towards Hanle.
Continue on this road for approximately 40 km until you reach the village of Umling.
From Umling, the Umling La Pass is about 10 km further ahead.
Note that the road conditions may be challenging, and it is important to have a reliable vehicle and an experienced driver. It is also recommended to acclimatize yourself to the high altitude before attempting this journey as Umling La Pass is one of the highest motorable passes in the world at an altitude of 19,300 feet.
