I have read that wax should not be inserted in holes. So the top should also be sealed with tape and then wax only added where the tape joins the new branches, as it may block the juice from getting to the new branches or even the tree from regenerating and filling that gap naturally. Does the method in the video have a high success rate?

I haven't had any problems so far , this is probably the most successful method of grafting on this tree diameter.

Hi , i have a question I did grafting 3-4 days ago but branches of the cherry tree that i put ( graft) on a sour cherry was flowering ( not to much) but the leaves started to open ! is it okay? it will have succses or no? please answer me

What to do in case of one success and two failure? what to do with the damaged part due to failure?

You can simply grow a whole tree from that one scion, but you can also wait for the summer to graft more scions and get more branches from it.

You can pull out failed scion and don't worry, the wood will regenerate.

Ive also been trying different types of grafts on my sour cherry with sweet cherry. I have done whip and tongue and accidentally ripped one of my scions while uncovering it. However it was showing signs of growth and opening buds. I will advise about my drill grafts!
