@@PreMath thank you. I will need lots of help next year as I need to help my son who is going to grade 11 here in Canada. Your videos are very clear and specific which I love. No wonder they say Indians are smart 😀Thanks 🙏
One trick for searching the vertex of parabola just take bit a second and the two types of parabola opening upward or downward Theirs vertex should b lies Thier maximum or minimum point so just take the first derivative of giving equation and put equal to zero that give u X intercept of vertex by putting X intercept in original equation u can easily obtained corresponding y intercept
Dear alkaiser hasim, we are using the well known fact: vertex form of a Parabola is: y=a(x - h)^2 + k. Now in our example, we have y=2(x + 1)^2 - 3 => it can also be written as y=2(x - (-1))^2 + (-3) => by comparing with the vertex form => a=2, h=-1, k=-3. All the best :)
I'm like in 7th grade and this actually helped me a lot, cause like I struggle with math that are way above me. Anyways If anyone here who read this comment can you tell me what grade level I am currently learning?
You are very welcome Rabindra! You are awesome 👍 I'm glad you liked it! Please keep sharing premath channel with your family and friends. Take care dear and all the best😃
(x-h) is the formula. This part of the equation reads (x+1); all that means is that is really looks like this (x - -1) or x minus negative one. To subtract a negative you are really adding a positive.....keep, change, change.
