We are Tim & Sue Tiger, award-winning canners, and we just got our first 8 bushels of Georgia peaches from Blain's Farm & Fleet in Urbana, IL on June 27th!
Here's how we bring them in, lay them out, and get them on the grill to make 5 products: salsa, jam, jelly, butter, and preserves! I will be making videos for all of these products coming soon to our website!
First, we lay them out. Then, when they start to ripen, Tim grills them, and I peel them. We start making a few things, but for the most part, we get them into gallon bags for the freezer. We've filled two freezers so far (out of 4!)
