Walter looks great, and you are doing great job with him. I came across the Squishy face wrinkly paste on Amazon and I am happy with the results. I would recommended it to the same breeds you mentioned.

Aww how beautiful is your bulldog. 🥰 my bulldog (Spud) is similar shape and he is muscley as anthing . He is ripped to bits. They dont have to resemble a barrel. You can clearly see Waltor is a english bulldog. Hes gorgeous ....they are the most softest, loveliest friendlist dogs. Great with kids too.

My bully hates bath time, but I have found it's the actual bath tub and sitting in water he dislikes. I have a stand alone shower that I use instead, and now he tells me when it's time to get clean! He will literally push past me when I go to shower and sit inside the shower staring at me. Such personalities on these guys

Hi Walter is lovely. I have a bull dog who is the same shape and size as Walter, I cant tell you how many time I get asked is he a bulldog.!!!! Like us they are all shapes and sizes. It means he can walk for miles run through fields and doesnt have any breathing issues. Keep posting.

I really want a bulldog!! I love how chill they are. Did you socialize him a lot as a puppy to ensure he’s good with other dogs and people? Most owners I know say their bulldog naturally was chill and well tempered but I’m curious what you did!

I rescued an English bulldog about 6 months ago who the vet said was approx. 2 years old. She's the absolute sweetest thing ever and has really adapted well into our family. My question is, although I bathe her as regularly as possible (I have MS so sometimes it's not as often as she needs it 😟) but she has these horrible tear stains running down the wrinkles of her sweet face that were there when I got her. So I doubt they have ever been truly been dealt, at least not as they should've been. I clean and clean, making sure to focus on her facial wrinkles, but still can't get them to fade a little much less actually clean. Her face and half of her body is white so they stand out bad making her look nasty or unbathed at the least. I really don't want to buy anything if it isn't necessary rather using a home product if I can. Although I'm not against buying whatever it takes to remedy the situation. (Again the MS thing prevents me from getting out very often, especially just to run to the store.) Anything you could recommend would be greatly appreciated! Hi Laura I watched your video a while back when we were thinking of getting a English Bulldog puppy, though we've both wanted one since we were kids and we date in high school broke up and 26 years later got back together... Anyway we just got a baby English Bulldog yesterday and I rewatched your video so I could get all these products now thank you so much for such a helpful video

what a beautiful boy! he really looks like an olde english bulldog, so "tall and lean", and with the less squished snout... and such a great temper! you are doing a really good job with him our Astro (english bulldog x DDB, so rather similar to a Leavitt bulldog) behaves pretty much the same, except that he absolutely loves the bath part, especially the shampoo (he tries to lick the foam when it smells sweet XD) he also "loves" the wrinkle cream (the taste, not the application... hehe...), that we use basically only in the tear crease, since we have not much of a nose wrinkle (thanks to the DDB part) and the nose/pad ointment (a slight tendency to hyperkeratosis, here, mostly in winter) for ears we have a special routine, that consist in apply the treatment (and a lot of treats :P) in the car, just before a short ride, because he is totally in love with cars, and feels good and safe inside them, so he tends to be more pliable in there XD

Soak the cotton ball with the cleaner then squeeze it into his ear then he wont see the bottle and run away

Q-Tips and corn starch will take care of the redness in the folds,

Your bull dog remands me of mine she’s short but thin she weighs 54 pounds but I find it better because she won’t get joint problems later in life and I keep her so active your bulldog is beautiful ❤️🙌🏼

Does Walter shed? I have an English Bulldog and he sheds like crazy. You didn't mention anything about shedding so I was just curious if you do something to help with the shedding.

I adopted a English bulldog & they were feeding him victor dog food. He has no skin issues but does have the dark tears. I was reading sometimes the darkness is from the dog food. I was wondering what you feed your bulldog? Thank you !

How often do u bath him? U never said. Also put the ear med on the cotton ball then cotton ball to ear. You will have way less problems

I know you know what your doing but I was wondering if you tried doing his ears while he is in deep sleep mode, I get all the grooming done when my boy is totally relaxed and never have a fuss and even while active we have a good time grooming.. I also will massage the ear canal before placing the cotton and have him laying on his side and let him turn on his own for the other ear position for maximum effect..I also just use diluted apple vinegar for his ears and his skin in a spray bottle to keep flies fleas etc at bay your boy is well cared for thanks for sharing

have you looked into the Chi spray on chewy it’s amazing my olde english loves getting brushed and wiped down i’m definitely looking into the wrinkle paste the chi spray makes him spell amazing and a shiny coat

I wipe my English Bull Dogs eyes every day with a warm rag along with the rest of his rolls. We use baby wipes to clean his upfront and back door =) after he uses the bathroom and before he comes back into the house. I put coco butter on his chin time to time cuz he leans his chin on everything and I mean everything. I think the worst part for me is clipping his nails. Loved the vid Laura and your Bull dog is amazingly cute and well mannered.

Hello I have and English bulldog dog I saw you don't wash his face I try to always washes because he is always sniffing other pee bushes lol incredible when you clean his ears when we do it something stinky and gross come out and we do clean then 1 or 2 every week. I wishe my dog let me put all that's stuffs in his face so easily.. I have 2 questions *1) how you do it to the hair we always have hair every where 😫 he is not allowed to be on the couch because of the hair and see your wearing black and don't have any hair on your 😣 2) how often you do your dog grooming or bath??

Oh gosh thank you so much for sharing this . I have an English Bulldog also . She looks a lot like your dog . She's not quite as tall as Walter . Can I buy the wrinkle paste at pet smart ? Also I have never seen my dog ( Irene ) clean her own bottom , so am I suppose to clean her bottom after every time she goes to the bathroom ? How I come about getting Irene was my stepson brought her over to our house. She once belonged to my stepson's mother . Well.. She passed away and he was living with us at the time . He is a grown man , but he doesn't really have a stable life at this time and I hate to say it , but he's not very responsible. So I guess she will continue to stay with my husband and I . I don't have the heart to give her away , but at first I asked my stepson if she could clean her own bottom ? He told me she could, but I haven't ever seen her do that . I give her bath , but I wasn't sure what to use . I'll have to go buy some Bruts Bee's shampoo and conditioner. I had a bloodhound that I loved so....much . She had to have some surgery last Nov. and she passed away in recovery. It like to have killed me !! I cried and cried and it still hurts . 😢😢😢 I said , never again , but Irene can't help it . She's fell in love with us and we have fell in love with her . She's such a sweet dog . If you don't mind though could you please tell me what to clean her bottom with and if I should do it every time after she uses the bathroom? Thanks again !! 🐕💖💙

Great Vid. I'm thinking of a Bulldog as my next buddy. what do you feed Walter? I had an English Bull Terrier and he was sensitive to certain dry foods on the market. I also think it's very proactive of you to keep his weight under control to help save his joints. That's a great tip when talking to a Vet.

Know this video is from some time ago, but..... figured it might help someone watching at any time. Had a lab/chow mix who lovvvvved to shake water, soap, whatever... CONSTANTLY, anytime he was in the bath. A groomer gave me a tip that was truly.. life-changing (& saved SO much time/effort in clean up of bathroom AND of myself. LOL) While putting soap on, rinsing, getting out, drying, etc... She said if possible, use 1 hand to do everything & w/ the other, just hold an ear. Let go, once it's ok for them TO shake. For some reason, while you are touching their ear (doesn't have to be hard or a specific place... just light pressure/pressure point).... they will not shake water or soap all over, well... everywhere & everyone!! :) Enjoy not finishing up, looking like a dripping, sopping mess.. now in need of a grooming yourself. lol

That's a LOT of maintenance, but Walter is worth it!

I have a 18 month old bully I used to use something similar for his ears he didn't like it at all because it was a liquid then I found a powder I bought it of amazon it's called cankit it work better than the liquid stuff and he doesn't mind it being put in his ears it also keeps his ears dry

Just to stop everyone from commenting about Walter’s weight, a way to measure healthy dog weight is if you can feel the ribs with light to no pressure on their chest BUT not see the ribs. Walter is fine and pretty.
