This is the MOST fabulous orchid I've yet had bloom! Beautiful flower, colour and FRAGRANCE!!! And relatively easy. Not a typical Cattleya care wise so do watch for insights about what I've learned growing this spectacular orchid in Melbourne.

So beautiful, congrats! I'm still trying to bloom two that I have had for almost 2 years by now. The biggest has already 8 pseudobulbs.

Thanks for watching! I hear you! I have one that is three years old now and a similar size and never flowered! I'm still figuring that one out but I feel I might have nailed it this year! We'll see.....!

Terracotta pots also tend to keep top heavy orchids from tipping over. BUT: cattelya tend to cling to the clay, so re potting them is challenging.
