I had some cassava cuttings posted to me. They were wrapped in wet newspaper then bubble wrap, and sealed in a plastic post satchel and when they arrived, 2 weeks after posting, they were sprouting roots! So if you wrap them in wet newspaper and seal them in a black plastic bag and keep them somewhere out of direct sun but still warm for 2 weeks or so, perhaps they will grow roots?
@DeanneCecelia

Same. I know can cut 20cm long stems , keep in water for about 1 week , it will grow roots quick , then plant
