This is a mic-drop in farming terms. Many thanks to the farmer for kindly sharing his highly prized knowledge and thanks, too, to the production crew for making and sharing this video. I'm not a farmer yet, but I can appreciate great information when I do come across it.

Charles.. my name is Chali (Lol) from Zambia. Currently I used the method in the video for a variety that takes about 8 months. I cut up the sticks into the sizes shown and planted a month ago, the growth is amazing. If I need to import the TME 418 cassava variety (the 4 months maturity variety), what advice would you give me?
I had some cassava cuttings posted to me. They were wrapped in wet newspaper then bubble wrap, and sealed in a plastic post satchel and when they arrived, 2 weeks after posting, they were sprouting roots! So if you wrap them in wet newspaper and seal them in a black plastic bag and keep them somewhere out of direct sun but still warm for 2 weeks or so, perhaps they will grow roots?
