I jus planted two on the front of my house. Facing east. I love it. The big test will be next year. Will they grow and spread. And will the deer leave them alone.
My bee balm does really well in full sun! Lots of blooms! I did have a question, where do you purchase some of your less common shrubs/trees? I’m looking for a white currant but don’t know where to buy them in Utah!

It is right next to my compost pile so it is pretty rich. I am at the foot of a mountain on a talus field, so if you dig down 18" it is almost pure rock. The previous owner brought in sandy topsoil to put over the rock and I have added compost over that.
