I always plant two seeds together and never thin them out, they grow just fine. I also plant a lot deeper than one inch for stronger plants.

I’ve been planting bloody butcher corn consistently for the last several years in NTX with negligible harvesting. It’s not easy to grow dent corns in my area but I try and try as I love corn. This year I switched to a couple different varieties. So far so good and I’ll definitely be using the clips as last year my corn was decimated by borers.
