So for zone 6 or 7 you're really going to want to protect the stalk and roots. An easy way to do that is put a lot of mulch on the ground around the roots. I'm talking like a foot or more of it. Next step is DONT CUT THE LEAVES THAT DIE". They will add extra insulation in yhe winter. Lastly, you will want to wrap the stalks. I like to put 3 posts in the ground, then wrap those in chicken wire, and fill all of that chicken wire as tightly as possible with dead leaves, grass clippings, hay, whatever you got. This works really well and keeps the bananas tall for the next season! This is great because then they don't have to regrow their height every year. Hope this helps 😁

@@MyAfroBohemianHomestead from what 8 know right now its also important to have 3 leafs on yung or 5 leafs on adult plant(trim often), or to add npk and nitrate maybe once a month too.
