Hello Friends!
I present you my most highly requested video ever? I share all my favourite tips and tricks to growing long natural nails. I actually had nails twice as long as these ones in the video in September 2020 ( • MY DAILY ROUTINE AS A ... ) and all I did was follow these same tips + my genetics. I will probably make an in-depth nail care routine video, so let me know if you'd like to see that or another nail tutorial for spring/summer 🥰

I tried everything to stop biting my nails. nail polish, bandages, getting acrylics, and I still kept getting that bad habit back. The only time I actually managed to not bite them is now, as I’m not at school anymore, because I’m not stressed anymore :)

I started to paint my nails just because I had this same problem for like five years or more. I never tried, but I wanted to change this aspect so I thought if I painted them I’ll stop at seeing the colors. That’s was two weeks ago and I notice they grown a little bit, so I encourage to everyone to have this same problem to try it, it worth and I feel more happy about it 💓

Am i the only one who's nails gets flexible and clear when wet but it rearly breaks and when it does it's for the simplest things but somehow it doesn't break when under thigh pressure 😐

Keep your nails painted at all times with a base coat two coats of color and a top coat, as that will reduce the amount of water that your nails absorb. If you did weathering of rocks in deserts in geography, that’s kind of what happens to our nails when water soaks and drains out of our nails, making them brittle and forming splits.

When I lived in California for my entire life up until I was 19, my nails have always grown long and beautiful, because of the weather. Warmer weather contributes to faster nail growth. I was blessed with my dads hair and nail genetics, so the weather in Cali doubled it. Then I moved to a colder state, and they still grow long, but it takes longer, and it has actually changed them a bit. So the environment and even the season, plus genetics all contribute to how your nails grow, plus your overall health too. When it's summer time people should really watch how their nails grow exponentially faster, hair too. :)

I also had the same problem a few months back. But now I've overcome it and have quite long nails. So I can give you some helpful tips(I guess): ☆ Try to notice when you're biting your nails and stop yourself from doing so. I know most of the time it happens unknowingly but still try. ☆Try to wear nail polish if possible. So, your nails look pretty and you don't bite. (I personally didn't do it often as I can't wear nail polish regularly bcz of prayers) ☆Get some nail inspo. It'll help you to stay aware and encourage you to takecare of nails) ☆Use castor oil at night. It'll leave healthy nails. Remember that it always depends on your mind. If you're determind then you can do it for sure. I know it takes time. For me it took uncountable attempts. But finally I could stop this habit. I wish for yoh to come out of it and have your goal nails. ♡ I hope it helps. Sorry for my bad english. Not my first language😅

I didn't finish the video yet, so I don't know if she mentioned this, but you shouldn't get a lot of acrylics or gel done/file or buff your nail a lot (file in sense of the main part, not the part of the nail that grows out) buffing takes away layers of the nail, making them extremely brittle and weak. If your nails are yellow, it is nothing to worry about except if it's also at/in your cuticle. Mostly yellow nails are just the result of wearing a lot of dark polish that stains the nail. I hope you all can grow out your nails successfully, and break biting habits! Good luck

Yes, you sh7ld stick to clear and regular nail polish. When I grow my nails out, which is usually every 3 months, I put clear polish on and file rough edges at the beginning of the week. In the morning during the week I put cuticle oil on. Then at night I put Vaseline on. I repeat this until the end of the month.

So true about the gel/acrylics and buffing. I got gel and when I got them removed, my nails were so weak, but then I immediately got buffing which required more filing on top of my already weak nails. It was the hugest mistake! My nails were so fragile and weak that even hot water on them was painful. They constantly broke and were in pain. It was not a good decision.

When I grew my nails out in 4th grade (stopped ripping at them for a bit I was so proud of myself) I used to be able to bend them backwards, they never broke or tore from that which is so crazy to think about.

I really appreciate the advice about nail polish ! I used to think that I have to avoid nail polish if I want to have long nails but I started applying nail polish more often and it worked ! My nails are stronger because of the protection nail polish gives them ! And I also apply hand cream in thick layers every night, it helps a lot :)

hand creams are usually safe for the skin, but nail polishes usually contain a large amount of chemicals.... So it's better if you avoid em' especially if you eat your food with nail paints on

Hey!I just started growing out my nails. I was bitting my nails A LOT since I was a kid,and now im succeeding in not bitting them😂Kinda proud of myself,here are some tips if you wanna stop too: -Spend time on your nails,so it will be harder for you to do it. -And plus WEAR DARKER COLORS OF NAIL POLISH,cause it will be easier to see them if you move your hand closer to your mouth. -And chew gum if you feel the need to chew on something!I realized that I wasnt bitting my nails because I wanted to,it was because I needed something to chew. Here are some tips for beginers: -Put oil on the cuticles of your nails(I use coconut oil) -NEVER let your nails be without polish(it will make them more open to chipping and breaking) I hope I didnt make a mistake,but if I did feel free to corect me!

Yeah I couldn’t grow mine out cuz I play violin and piano. But during the summer I grew them out. To me, it’s not really worth it though due to all the bacteria and dirt that constantly gets stuck under your nails, and it also makes everyday task needlessly difficult.

Try ur best not to grip the sponge with your nails😭 but try to gently hold it! wiping the dishes with a tissue or towel before washing them also decreases your work load well at least these help for me I hope that they will help you too!

@@kirstendevries1255 in asian, my mom will definitely scold me for "wasting" tissue or disposable kitchen towel. If i use a cloth towel, my mom will ask me to handwash the towel afterwards. Usually I'll just soak the dishes in water for 5 minutes before i actually use sponge and dish soap to wash it. It's easier to wash that way.

As someone who has bit her nails her entire life and now even my nails beds are tiny, this was very helpful! I also LOVE the nail episode before this, the nail design because I can do it in my own sort of way so its not as difficult !
