This definitely works, I had short lashes which were to blame on my genetics. I've been doing this for almost two months now and I definitely see a huge change. My eyelashes are thicker, more curled and definitely grew longer. I know the comments are filled with people saying they saw results in 2-4 days but that wasnt my case, It took me a good month to start seeing changes. So results vary person to person but dont give up because it 100% works so be consistent and watch u get those long voluminous lashes
@@RealBigMan247 keep going, I assure you you'll see results sooner or later Even if you dont see drastic changes in length your eyelashes will get thicker and your eyes will look healthier keep goingg
@@RealBigMan247 They look much prominent and definitely a lot thicker considering the fact i looked lashless at first, my lashes lay flat but i started to curl/push them up when i apply the vaseline so i can also say they're more curled now
Thnx for the video. Your eyelashes are beautiful. I have been using castor oil twice a day for 2 months. And my lashes have grown tremendously. I also use castor oil twice a day on my nails.
I tried this method and it certainly worked! I started seeing results after about 3-4 days. But idk why my left lashes ended up growing longer than my right lashes lol.
I tried this vaseline tip but one drawback I experienced is that while applying it my eyelashes started falling out. 1-2 lashes from each eye.But it also helped my eyelashes to grow longer
Just wanna say thank you this is definitely working even though my lashes are not as long as I thought they'll be they are fuller, thicker and longer than before and I'm really happy because I had short and scanty lashes causes i used to pull them out but this has helped a lot.
I been using castor oil Vaseline and other oils mixed together. Every time I see your lashes it reminds me not to mess with mine. Can't wait to grow super long lashes so that I can dye them with henna. Wish me luck
This is great and I’ve been doing this for years. What made a huge difference is that I alternate between castor oil and Vaseline at night if you want to see slightly different results
It works awesome...I tried this along with applying castor oil and coconut oil In alternative days.but apply only during sleep or the eyeballs would become greasy spoiling vision It took me 1 month every night
Elizabeth Lu Delacruz thanks.. my eyelashes are VERY long and thick. BUT they look straight down so people have to be close to my face to attucually see the lenght. I just want them to be curly and I got really excited when I read it curled them but that wont happen to me..☹
I have seriously lost all faith in humanity. Vaseline is virtually harmless. I just saw a comment talking about how petroleum is for your car not your skin. PETROLEUM JELLY AND PETROLEUM (the fossil fuel) ARE NOT THE SAME THING, DID YOU EVEN DO BASIC CHEMISTRY AT SCHOOL???
I know this method has worked for a lot of people, but in the past I have tried it and nothing happened. If this doesn’t work, which can happen depending on you body type, maybe try using Shea butter because it made my lashes grow a lot.
1. Use vaseline and rub it with your fingers so it’s warm 2. Gently rub it on your lid and lash line 3.Rub your lower lash line+ lower lids 4. Finally when you wake up your lashes guNnA be gorgeous 5. If when you woke up it didn’t grow don’t worry you just gotta do it more often.
Ok so for some people when we apply vaseline and sleep it just swollen ur eyelids so firstly u have check it and then apply it's not good for me so apply caster oil mu favourite for growing hair, eyelashes
I tried this and my eyelashes grew twice in length in three days. I didn't wear make up all three days (I had the days off) so, all I did was this technique, and it really worked for me! Thank you so much, sweetie! I love your videos.
I'm srry, idk why no one asking this but does vaseline above your eye not give a stinging sense or "spicy" sense to your eye? and when you wake up, can we wash the Vasaline off? Also, one more thing, do yall prefer petroleum jelly or vaseline (like which one worked better and is safer)?
Umm..the same thing happened to my sister. But you guys should know that eye lashes fall off every 4 months or every 120 days. So it doesn't matter if you cut them off cause they get replaced, with the same length they originally were.
I’ve been doing this for over 3 years and for the past 4 months I’ve added a drop castor oil into the Vaseline and my lashes have gotten so long that I don’t need to put falsies on when doing make up and one coat of mascara will do the job!
When my lashes grow out, I am getting them dyed with henna. No more mascara or make up for m e ever. May be just pink Vaseline in my lips. I will finally be free from make up .
I did this during quarantine consistently just for fun without even knowing it could grow my lashes and i got a huge surprise when i was looking at my face in the mirror one morning and it was longer than before 😂
I used to wear TONS of mascara everyday and not wipe it off properly, but now I've stopped. Is it ok if I apply the vaseline and wear just concealer and black eye pencil (bc I look sick without either lol)?
Abby M I use Castor oil in combination with Vitamin E Oil. You can also add coconut oil as well. Almond oil is also good. But never use petroleum jelly the way this woman in the video uses. Stay away from that junk! That's exactly what it is, JUNK, a byproduct of the oil industry. It’s a leftover residue created during the refinery of crude oil, and as such, isn’t a sustainable resource.
Abigail Ramirez Huh?! Not all lip balms and lip glosses have petroleum jelly in them. I use an all natural lip gloss with only good ingredients. You obviously don't know anything about that.
Mascara wrecks havoc on your lashes and false eyelashes are HORRIBLE for them. I lost a lot of lashes from some crappy waterproof mascara I tried and someone told me about this. Tried it and now when I go out people ask where I get my lash extensions from. My own lashes were stubby and then at the ends..not anymore.
I usually don't comment in any vids but guys... THIS IS SOOO EFFECTIVE!!! √Day one : Nothing changed √Day two : Still nothing √Day three : I stopped (But then I saw myself in the mirror and my eyelashes grew longer √Day four : I really love my lashes!!! THAN YOU!!!!
@@shanebawson2917 I use castor oil for my lashes as well and they work but when it gets in your eye it hurts as hell. I usually put Vaseline after my castor oil, Hope this helps lol
Actually vaseline is made with paraffinum liquidum or mineral oil which is very comedogenic so don't apply on your face if you have an acne prone skin or an oily skin. Futhermore it's not really hydrating, it just smoothen the skin because it keeps water on your skin and forms a film on the surface of the skin so your skin can't breathe and you'll have clogged pores. So just don't apply on your skin, but only on your eyelashes and eyebrows ^^
Actually, Vaseline is made of 100% petroleum jelly which is non-comedogenic, meaning it does not block or clog pores. If you go to Vaseline's website you can see that they actually promote dipping your finger in a little petroleum and rubbing in on your face. While it can't cure acne or get rid of acne, it still provides a protective layer which can help cure breakouts faster. If you are planing to put Vaseline on your face, when it comes night, wash your face to make sure to get rid of all the bacteria and then apply a small amount of the Vaseline. I'm not suggesting to lather your whole face but a little goes a long way and Vaseline is actually a good addition to your skincare routine.😄😄
The Vaseline didn't help my eyelashes but it made my eyebrows become a lot thicker in like 1-2 weeks. Thank you so much!!!! Now I have thick luscious eyebrows for my middle school dance this week.
My favorite diy about lashes video so far and I've watched 16 total. love your voice and you don't waste time talking about yesterday. you're straight to the point.
FARAH!! this is the first video that I've seen of yours with a voice over , I'm from Instagram btw and I'm SHOOK I thought you'd have a very deep voice like us brown people usually do . but it's so sweet and lovely
I always rub little bit of cocoa butter on my eyebrows and eyelashes when I moisturize my face. It's just a habit, but it does seems to help grow thicker and longer eyelashes and eyebrows. Not to mention, my vision is 20/20, so it hasn't affected my eyesight. Women always compliment me on my lashes and brows, and some even say it looks as if I wear mascara and arch my eyebrows. I take the accusations as compliments though.
I have been doing this for a little over a week. And it WORKS! I always had long lashes, but they were very thin. Now, I see more growing and getting thicker. I do it every night.
Don't put vaseline on your eyelashes! Put castor oil and sweet almond oil. I got an empty mascara tube from Amazon, a funnel for like a dollar to pour it in the tiny tube (Amazon) and mixed castor oil and sweet almond oil (also from amazon). These oils encourage hair growth! You can also use castor oil on your lips since it is so thick!
gail coronel Yeah! I used olive oil for a while and it seemed to work, But castor oil is a major key. Just don't get too much olive oil in your eye. It can sting.
How long does it take to grow with castor oil? I have been using castor oil for my hair for months and now I want to put it on my eyelashes and eyebrows
I have been doing this for around a month now and it’s giving results. My Lashes are growing longer and stronger than before. I also decided to take a break from mascara to get better results and I can say I feel more confident now without it after doing this. I think using caster oil will help strengthen and give faster results of growing but I haven’t tried yet. But this is a good option for growing lashes would absolutely recommend ❤
I never used Vaseline on my eyelashes but I use brush my eyelashes and apply a bit of water bc Vaseline has chemicals but water doesn't and it hydrates them and they grow longer
I've been doing this for six months now. My eyelashes now are longer but not really thicker. I have trouble with vaseline streaks on the inside of my glasses. So this does work for me.
Guys I knew the Vaseline trick from some other source, and I don't get much time to do it regularly, and many times I am just lazy or forget doing it, I don't think that I have tried it even 10 times neither was it regular, but I guess, it does work for me, first I felt for myself, and now even my mom says that she feels my eyelashes have became longer ... This was just to give a feedback to all those who aren't sure of trying this
