Eat more fruits it truly hydrate more than water but if you drink make sure it’s true spring water that runs through rocks picking up all the vital minerals that it needs to hydrate you if it don’t hold electricity it’s dead water and you don’t want that in your body because it’s acidic and will dehydrate you so drink electrical water or eat fruits and get that H3O2
Your hair will grow no matter what.🥹 1. Aloe Vera juice: amazing for your hair. Promotes hair growth, moisturizing….. it has a smell to it but mix with essential oils. 2. Rice water: when washing, pour it over your hair and leave for a bit. Promotes hair growth, shiny hair and it keeps your hair shiny 3. Moisturize your locsssss. Atleast 4 times a week. 4. Wear a silk or satin bonnet when you’re going to bed. Reduces friction which helps with breakage 5. Don’t retwist so often 😩 6. Be patient 😢 trust the process, take pictures
I love your tips❤️❤️❤️❤️ . It’s nice to see how your hair has grown alot ;) . I have been watching you for like 5 months now . I love your channel . I started my starter loc journey march 5 2022 then four months later i losed them out because i wasnt happy on how i parted . The reason why it wasnt parted properly because I originally already had a style that was braid at the root then twist at the end . I didn’t do the parts properly cuz thats just me . Then i suddenly was like i really want to have locs . I begging begging my parents to get me some instant locs . They were like it cost so much money . I thought instant locs was the only way to have locs . But little did i know i was wrong . So i found out there are so many other ways to grow your own locs . So i left that same style i had in and left that in for 4 month . But i wish i took that style out long time . But now i its my second time starting starter locs . I’m happy now with my parting . Tomorrow will be my 3rd week loc’d. I’m so happy lol. Idk why i wrote this long thing nobody will probably read this . But it feels good to say something. Cuz literally if i say a story to any of my family they literally dont care .
Beautiful 🧡 ! I am 2 months into my loc journey and I use coconut oil, shampoo and rosewater with vitamin E in it for scalp care. I have never done this before. I've had my hair natural for 14 years.
I use aloe Vera gel for about 6 months now on my scalp & strands of my locs before I put oils you are right it really helps with growth I use the fruit of the earth brand there is no smell plus drinking water daily also helps
About to be 1 year in my journey in April. My toddler just had her 1 hear loc versary in January. And I'm about to start my 2 hear Olds journey today. I'm excited!
I was just thinking about adding aloe vera juice to my moisture routine this morning. Your locs are shiny and gorgeous. The color against you complexion is 👍🏾. I just might try the rice water. Do you let it ferment?
You definitely should! And sometimes I do not all the time because I don’t have time but when I do remember I do let it ferment for a few days - a week .
Congratulations! I started 2 weeks ago as well. Excited to experience the process! I am impatient by nature so I think this will help me calm down in that way as well lol. Best wishes!
How do people incorporate aloe Vera juice into their hair routine? Do you spray it directly on your hair? Do you dilute it with water and add oils? I would love to try it. I’ve heard it’s great for your hair for years, but have never tried it. Also, can you share how you use the rice water? Before washing? How long do you leave it on? Thank you! ☺️
Really wow Rice Water 💧 my first time hearing this . Thanks for sharing . I’ve been using Olive Oil Treatment by The Hair Chemist , I found thinking hair on my crown , I’m not twisting anymore and I allow it to get damp every day while bathing.Take off that shower cap.
Just had my instalocs out in yesterday and I don't like them😢I lost five inches of length and I'm so upset about it and they are stiff😭 it's gonna take some getting use to
Guys let me give you a secret. Use aloe Vera gel to retwist your hair do not use gel on your hair. Buy the aloe Vera fresh clean it blend it and do your retwist.
I'm 9months in and I really don't see growth. And had concerns about my hair also I do have alopecia which makes me more self conscious about parts of my hair growth. What would you recommend?
It's been 5/6 months since I've had mine and I've taken pictures from day 1 and my hair looks exactly the same length..I'm starting to worry, why doesn't mine grow?
Your hair will grow. Just be patient … most of the time your hair will Shrink before you start seeing real length . Your still in the starter phase so you just need to be a little patient 🙌🏾
Thank youu! And there’s many ways you can do that depending what your going for. You can do Bantu knots, you can use rollers , double twist , braid out . There’s a lot of ways to curl your hair .
Thank you and This video is kinda hold but it’s either from my two strand twist take down or braids/ cornrows. There’s many ways to get wavy/curly look with locs.
Hi I love your dreads and all the styles that you have created with them I love the neatness of your dreads did you start your own dreads and also what did you do to get them so neat Can you please send a list of all the products that you’ve used on your lock journey thank you by the way you’re very beautiful lady with your hair
Aww your so nice lol but I have plenty of videos of what I use on my locs. I try to keep it very simple and minimal. I use my own oil and moisturizer that I use for moisturizing and retwist . Those oils and moisturizing spray will be available soon for sale . But me and my sister started my locs and I’ve been taking care of them .
@@Chynax_M thank you for taking the time out to respond I really appreciate it . I just started my loc journey February 9th two days ago and I have looked at several different people‘s loc’s and by far yours are the best👍🏾 you have done a great job at maintaining and keeping your loc’s looking beautiful thank you 🙏🏾
Just leave your hair be . You can retwist them when it’s time and just leave it , it’ll eventually lock. If not then you can look into other method such as interlocking or instant locking with a crochet .
Congratulations! And it’s definitely up to you. I cannot tell you an exact answer as I don’t know your hair . I would say 3-5 weeks . That’s what I do, all I would say is don’t retwist too often like every week. See what works for your hair .
Might be interlocking, I started off my very short hair loc journey using interlocking method, they looks tiny but I hope I get a good result at the end.
Did you moisturizerzr your locs When you first started your locs. I jave microbraid locks they are about 8vweeks old. My hair hasn't locked yet. Won't moisturizer slow down the lic process?
Ohhh no , your hair needs moisturizing , especially locs. It’s important to moisturize your locs because if it’s dry all the time that can cause breakage in the long run. Your locs look and feel better when you moisturize them. And your only 8 weeks in , you still in the locking process. Sometimes that process can take from 1-2 years or more depending on your hair type before it l fully locs. So I would say don’t worry too much about them locking. They will look on their own terms.
