Good morning sir, I have tried your technique in this video with a number of substrates and am enjoying great success as my oyster mushrooms are now starting to pin. For me the process took a little over a month, perhaps because of the difference in climate, during Winter in Melbourne Australia. Thank you for sharing your passion and knowledge 👍

Hello from a man from Congo.. this is beautiful work you are sharing... you have shown it in its best simplistic way unlike many RU-vid videos that complicate the process....thank you & keep up the good work👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
FINALLY a video that shows the whole process. I saw several videos where the only thing I saw was the mycellium growing but no harvest of mushrooms at all. Thank you very much. One more like :)
If you cannot obtain spawn, the base or inside of stem of the mushroom can also be used to start the culture. Spores can also be obtained by placing a mature mushroom gills-side down onto clean paper for 24 hours. The dark print it leaves is millions of tiny spores to grow more mushrooms.
Thank you for this video. Some things regarding maintaining humidity are not clear. From when should water be sprayed onto the bag? What kind of dark places the bag can be kept in? What is the max amount of exposure to light allowed? Is certain temperature critical for the growth process?
One of the BEST Videos about growing mushrooms. I feel much more confident after watching your video than I have after watching many other different videos. You show everything from start to finish and very easy to understand and know the process and what to look for. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!
Thanks Dr for your nice process of showing mushroom cultivation at home .very shortly I am going to Start it and surely I will share with you .thanks again.
Thank you so much sir. I successfully grew mushrooms by following your method. Very well explained and great video. This video was the reason I grew mushrooms. Feels so good to harvest super fresh mushrooms and fully organic. 💯
Hello from Las Vegas Nevada, USA... I love how you show each step from boiling the straw to taking the mushroom.. It is a great video and I will try this method as I love mushrooms.. Thank you for sharing your expertise with us all..
Great instructional video sir. Thanks. Could you please tell us how often bag should be sprayed after keeping it in the dark room and what temperature to be maintained. Thanks again.
Hi, Thank you very much for the detailed process of growing mushrooms. Your tracing is excellent. I’ll use your method to grow some mushrooms in Gold Coast, Australia. Namaste! 🙏🏻
thank you for that- i live at the middle east and the average temp. these days are between 25-40. what you recommend i can do? maybe to put the bag at the attic is fine?? its dark and quite same temp. thxxxxxxx!
Excellent video and demonstration. Besides straw what other organic matter can we use to grow these mushrooms? Can we use leaves and grass too? Please advise.
Excellent video. Thank you. I have 3 questions.... 1.from where to get the seeds? 2.what is straw and where can we get it? 3.which time of the year is best to grow them?
Thanks Mate, I could understand you perfectly. Could you please guide me about the ambient temperature and humidity? Can I keep the culture in a cupboard instead of a darkened room? Cheers
AFAIK, here in Indian conditions, the ambient room temperature itself is sufficient, in turn the humidity is taken care within the plastic bag as that retains the excess moisture as required. you need to be a bit careful in a cupboard as the dampness may cause other fungi to form on the cupboard walls since wood by nature attracts dampness and fungi plus the air circulation also will be very limited. a dark room corner would be apt. @Gardening is my Passion : Sir Ji hope my understanding and above statements are right . please correct me if i am wrong. THank you
Thank you for showing us this video and in english too. I enjoyed watching it. Im not sure however if i can get mushroom spawns that easy here. Can you make video on how to make spawns alternatively.
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else wants to uncover cultivating mushrooms try Nevolly Mushrooms Maker Nerd (just google it ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my partner got great results with it.
If I want to start mushroom farming professionaly than how can we preserve it for long...and if i grow the mushroom in larger scale how to preserve it..please guide🙏
Would long-fibred blond sphagnum peat moss be a good substitute for the straw as a growing medium? The sphagnum is more widely available (and in smaller packages) here in the USA as a growing medium for orchids. Straw is not difficult to find but it is only available in very large cumbersome and impractical amounts for most of us.
Mushrooms in nature always grow in high humidity areas where there is lot of moisture in the soil and surrounding areas, it doesn't need sunlight like other plants to grow.
Wowwww thank you sir for your precious methods I have learnt a lot from your videos you are a true garden master 💋🌹🍄🍄🍄🍄🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰Lots of love from Pakistan 🇵🇰
Is there any alternative on cut straw, like coco peat , dried banana leaves or rice hull? Is the cut straw reusable? Thank you sir ! I always enjoy watching your videos, For me your the best teacher in gardening etc. More Power and Blessings to you!
Dear Dr., I will request you to give your opinion growing mushroom in wood chips, as I find it to get wheat straw or rice straw. Wood chips are easily available in my area.
Thanks Sir. I found your instructions excellent. However, in Coimbatore, it did not work out exactly like you said. I had to put it in a dark big pot, close it and wait. Today is the 27th day. Finally mushrooms have popped out. Do I need to keepsprinkiling water on them?
